re: AC1 - I'm nothing if not stubborn. Finally on my way in memory block 7. Need to have a chat with teacher;). Looking forward to AC2, because I got stuck pretty bad at the end of MB5, trying to kill Jubair, and went online for some guidance. In doing so, it seems that AC2 is many people's favorite game in the series.I think some of it is mainly that Ezio is a much more dynamic character to play than Altair is. Don't get me wrong, I love Altair, but he's often very 'one note' (for lack of a better term). Also they (IMO) improved some of the game mechanics as well as some of the world mechanics (I'm particularly fond introduction of the tailor shops where you could dye your clothes, I like me some dark colors instead of Assassin White) Yeah, I don't think you will find anybody who would argue about the game mechanics of ACII being much better than in the first game. I've seen debate about the changes made in ACIII, or even some of the stuff added in Revelation (*cough* bombs *cough*), but I'd say virtually everyone who has played both would agree that ACII is a far better game in pretty much every regard compared to its predecessor. Personally, I've always liked Altair more than Ezio (and Connor more than both), but the first AC game is nevertheless the worst in the series (that I've played so far). As for dying the outfits, I just can't! I would always try out a few different versions, but in the end I would always revert back to the original, be it the classic white, grey in Revelations or the brown and blue of Connor's outfit. I just feel that it fits the character design best and anything else just seems off to me.

Yay, finally on my way in AC2. It looks lots better. Without spoiling, I'll just say that I just witnessed my first hanging.

I like tearing down the 'wanted' posters And it helps a LOT! It is oddly satisfying. I've found in AC III that there's actually a glitch where - though you're incognito/your notoriety hasn't gone up at all, in certain places you can see the slight 'glowy' spots where wanted posters would normally be should your notoriety go up and sometimes you can 'tear them down' even though they're not really there. Not sure if it's an XBox glitch or a general game glitch, but I enjoy it *lol*

Regarding the wanted posters in general, I think it's hilarious how they would be up on buildings most of the time. Like, shouldn't the general public be able to see those?

I love it when they're on the side of chimney stacks. *lol*, or better yet... next to some random wooden platform on the side of the building (that's not even near a window or anything)

That thought has crossed my mind more than once as well. And I still hope you have a chance one day to play RDRedemption. You said a while back that you didn't like 'sandbox/open-world' games, yet unless we have different definitions, AC2 is the very definition of one. And I look very forward to when you get into the 'Uncharted' games . I expect a blow-by-blow update as you make your way through the games.

And that's not gonna change in the next couple years most likely. I wouldn't call AC an 'open-world' game btw. 'Limited open-world' maybe. Sure you can run around rather freely and do small bonus things and stuff, but the whole game is still very much focused on the main story line. The Witcher, that I'm playing right now, is similar in that regard. Real 'sandbox/open-world' games would be Skyrim and the other Elder Scrolls games as well as the various GTA titles. I'm sure there are people with 100 hours into Skyrim, who have only finished about 5% of the main quest.

Yeah, I like Sony because I have one, and that is where I play. Really a shame that RDR is not available on PCs, and I truly, truly hope you will get a PC version of Uncharted. Off my soap box now, XOXO
