They canceled Shadowhunters. I haven't read the books. I saw the Mortal Instruments movie, but like the show better. I really hope Someone will pick it up. I will pay for Hulu if they do. One of my other shows is moving there anyway for its fourth and likely final season (UnReal). Netflix had the rights to air Shadowhunters internationally or something as I have found out. They and the production company (Constantin) couldn't come to an agreement or something. The show is expensive (which was the official reason given for Dominion's cancelation a while back if I recall), so without the money from Netflix, Freeform can't afford it anymore. Well, did they even try to get another sponsor so they could afford it? It seems like they believed a lot in the show, so if they did enough why not try? They just took the easiest way out for them? I would have fought and fought hard to find a way to keep the show on the network if it were me. I just hope the show will be put on DVD. If I can't get new eps then I'd at least like to watch the old ones over and over without having to do so over the Internet.
On another recently talked about topic: the Charmed remake: when I saw the house in the new one, I thought it looked familiar, but wasn't the one from the original. Someone else on a reaction video pointed it out. It's the house from Witches of East End (a show that last two or three seasons on Lifetime I think). I remember now (when I first saw Witches of East end) thinking that their house was pink like the Charmed house. It's also been pointed out that the "advisor to witches" (formerly called whitelighter) is very Giles or early Wesley-like. So they are possibly taking stuff from other popular shows too. Some of the dialogue just from the promo makes me cringe. At least they decided not to go with the whole "takes place in the 70s and the Charmed witches aren't related" idea they originally had. Though it would be a lot different from the original. I'd rather it be set in a futuristic world instead of in the 70s. I wish they'd had grown Wyatt or Chris be their whitelighter just to tie it in to the original.

Yeah, my first thought to their new 'whitelighter' (or whatever) was, "okay, so now they're also putting in Wesley". Well, I watched the promo once and that is about as close as I will ever get to that show. Honestly, I would have much preferred it had they gone for a 70s remake instead. At least that would have been something original and maybe they could have had young Grandma Penny guest starring or something. Or set it in the future, works for me as well. But just making a "deversified" remake of a show that ended just a decade ago? F- you, you lazy fricking a-holes! #notmycharmedones

Rant about Dairy Queen:
So they had these blizzards that were red, white and blue. The smallest size they have is a mini, so I go to order that and realize it's $3.99!!! For a mini! All other minis are like $1.99 at most if I recall. I can get a small and possibly even a medium one of another flavor for $3.99 or less! Not one hundred percent sure about the medium, but I'd imagine the large ones are about that much. Even the mini of the blizzards of the month aren't that high! So what was so freaking special about this one that the mini was so high? A mini is not worth four bucks. What's that, a buck a bite? Ridiculous! I'm seriously considering never going back to Dairy Queen again (unless it was just the one store that charged that much, but I doubt it.) They already annoyed me by replacing the cod fish sandwich with pollock (which isn't near as good) and charging the same for the sandwhich. Okay, I get that cod is likely more expensive than pollock, but if you're going to have the latter, at least lower the price a little. If I really wanted pollock (which I never do), I'd go buy it at McDonald's where it's just a dollar or two (or at least used to be).

You have obviously never worked in a retail store during Christmas. When I was in high school, I worked in a Walgreen, sometimes 12 hrs a day because of the crowds around Christmas. (Web didn't exist yet. People actually went out and shopped...) That elevator music you hear? It's on a loop. Not a very long loop, either, since the customer wouldn't be in the store that long. I worked camera, so at least I could turn on one of the display model radios to drown out the canned music. If it wasn't for TSO, I'd still hate Christmas music to this day...
As for your problem, set up some big speakers facing out your back window. Then something by say... Black Sabbath. Paranoid would be a good choice. War Pigs on repeat if you just want a single tune.

Actually, I HAVE worked retail during Christmas, back in my youth. And you are correct, it is very similar. And you are also spot-on in your response. I know both of those songs, and frequently fire up the guitar amp to drown out the insanity!

Bluetooth headphones. They're the answer to a lot of things.

What the actual heck? It's 9:30 at night and one of the neighbors is mowing their yard! The only light they have to go by is a pinkish street light and the headlights of the mower. Not only is it annoying, but it's kind of dangerous too. I just don't understand people sometimes lol.

I would guess either he was planning it for the weekend and some plans came up or his wife said she wanted it done that day and didn't want any excuses.

I am so mad right now. So, I have a pogo account, been a member probably since the late 90s, early 2000s. I have the pogo app on my phone. They have a new badge you can win every Wednesday. I mostly only do that since I rarely use my laptop and don't have my PC set up now. I have mostly only signed in to the app every Wednesday. Occasionally I sign in to the site on the iPad. All I ever do on there (since my iPad is old and I can't play the games on the site with it) is see if there is anything new in the store (clothes and stuff for the avatar). I haven't done that in at least over a month. I have a paid account, by the way, not a free one. I pay $6.57 monthly or something like that.
The only emails I've gotten from them lately is basically a receipt of that payment. Though it shows two charges for the same amount for last month on my credit card account on the credit card website. I do not use EA for anything, been a member of Pogo since before EA took over it.
Anyway, I got on the app just fine last Wednesday. However, when I tried to sign into it today todo the weekly badge challenge, it said I had been banned for a previous EA violation. How can I have a violation when I haven't done anything on the site other than play games? I mean, yeah back in the days before EA took over, I used the pogo message boards, but I never posted anything bad. Most of my posts were on the technical boards with game issues. So there is no way I violated anything.
The links to investigate the account ban or to email help or whatever do NOT work or simply will not load. I cannot contact customer service. I did not ever even receive a warning email or anything (which they are supposed to do if there is a violation). As I said, I mostly use the app and there are no chat options on the app, so there is no way any violations can be done on the app. You can't do anything on the app other than play the games. You can't even play against others using the app.
I'd like to know what supposed violation they think I made when I haven't even been on the site to make any! But, as I said, I can't even investigate this because the links do not work. I googled the issue and it seems a lot of people had similar issues since as far back as 2013. Some of them used other EA services and said something about EA claiming they sold coins or something through a paypal account. I do NOT have a paypal account, so that can't be the issue for me. This just has to be an error or someone is replicating my account by putting a capital Eye where I have a lowercase ell or something. But, how can I resolve this if the links to try to contact the customer service don't even work? If they aren't going to let me back in, how will I be able to keep them from charging my credit card? I'm not paying for something that I can't even use anymore.
Can I just contact my credit card company and ask them to dismiss any charges from this company (if I am unable to get my account unbanned)? Or will it stop on its own when my current card hits its expiration date if I don't update the expiration date? I don't want to pay for this month if I can't use my pogo account this month.
This makes no sense because I know for an absolute fact that I have not violated anything. I'm just angry and baffled.

Or will it stop on its own when my current card hits its expiration date if I don't update the expiration date? I don't want to pay for this month if I can't use my pogo account this month. If the replacement credit card has the same number as the expired credit card, ongoing charges like this will continue beyond the expiration date. If you cannot work things out with Pogo, then contacting your credit card company is your only option. Ideally, they would just cancel the payments. Otherwise, you will need a new card with a new number, which would create a lot of headaches.
