What? You want another JR wakes from a dream? The writers would be pilloried. (If you don't get the JR reference, you must be young... BWAhahahaha...) I didn't watch Dallas (one of the few), but I thought it was the wife of the guy they brought back who woke from the dream. JR's brother or brother-in-law or something. You're probably right. I never watched any of the nighttime soaps (or daytime for that matter). It makes sense that JR wouldn't dream of his own murder. But it was the biggest news story of the month and you couldn't not hear about it, and became the poster boy of cheezy, unbelievably bad endings. Yeah, and that's why I didn't want this to be real time travel at the start of the season. It just gets... messy.

backroadjunkie , Mack was mentioned in 2022. Elena said he was gone and never coming back. That likely meant dead. So he at least had been with the others in 2022 at some point. There was no mention there of Coulson though. Mack was mentioned in 2022, but we don't know how or when he died. I figure both he and Coulson are dead. May is in charge. If Coulson was there, I'd think he'd be running the Lighthouse pre-Kree. <cough>Phil Coulson was brought back to life.<cough>

And all of those scenarios mentioned where a solution wouldn't happen because the problem or the solver wouldn't exist in the first place are called temporal paradoxes. Patrick Duffy's character, Bobby Ewing (JR's brother) was hit by a car and killed when the actor wanted to leave the show. When he decided he wanted to return, they had Bobby's wife dream that past season where he was dead. Weird, right? Well, I think the upcoming revival of Roseanne is pulling something similar. In the original final season, Roseanne's hubby Dan died of a heart attack. However, he is going to be alive in the revival which is set in present time, so likely Roseanne will have dreamed his death. I don't want any kind of thing like that on AOS. This. Also, she had his shotgun ax. I doubt she'd have that if he was still around to use it at that point.

Before the thing on twitter about the 2022 being the timeline if there's no Enoch at the diner I though perhaps Mack had stayed in 2091 with Flint, though it seems out of character for Yo-yo not to have stayed with him. On that train of thought though...if the 2022 is without them having time traveled, then how would Fitz know about Voss trying to change things? I guess the one way out of it is for a young Voss to exist in the 2022 timeline and do something to try and change things, but that seems a bit contrived.

7 pages for this thread. Must have been a good episode, eh? And more is coming ๐ Still, a lot of questions to answer. I still need to give my review on this ep. loved the ep. as usual. Still liked ep 5.5 and 5.6 more, it was more entertaining. This was more intriguing. pros. totally loved all the May/Robin scenes. Great acting and writing. Was an unexpected surprise. loved all the flashbacks and how it is intregrated in the present (2091). quality of some of the flashback scenes were high. Loved the little exchange between Fitz, Simmons and Deke about their reunion with the Zypher liked the Fitzsimmons pornscene. And that with the door open. They are little pervers, aren't they? Mack reunion with his axeweapon. Yo yo was awesome in both present and past and the splinter bombs were nice surprise. But just wondering they weren't better used against the kree? loved the little scene between Daisy/Robin. And how glad she was that Robin had always kept Robin. Loved Fitz wearing his wedding ring, in the past. Nice detail, which our Director noticed, of course. Not any negative stuff. Just a bit lacking on the entertaining, fun stuff. Mack and Yo yo were fun, but most of it was all very serious. A lot of questions brought this ep. up. Also a few answered. Like, who the hell brought them to future and who build the time machine. And more about the time frames.

In theory, they shouldn't work on the Kree, inhumans, or even any potential inhumans since it's pretty certain the diviner was developed by the Kree, Gordon held one as an inhuman and Raina was able to hold one before terrigenesis.

Hydra weapon? Yes Diviner metal? No SBs were based off old 1940's technology that was revived by Bobbi's Japanese friend Diviner metal was used to create a weapon (usually in beverage form) that would turn people to stone and was created under Whitehall's watch.
