( DoTheMath posted it on page two of this thread) Is that what it was? This is what I see. I've never looked into the code to see if there was really something in these blank posts I see every once in a while...

Saw it on my second watch. It's too bad that timeline will be (already is?) erased......... Doesn't mean they can't get married again. Plus, I'd take the timeline where Earth doesn't get destroyed any day, even if it means Fitzsimmons don't get married. I'll take any timeline where Coulson is atleast *mentioned* in any capacity as opposed to one where he isn't even seen or referenced...

That guy who is part of the show's crew (don't know if he's a writer or fx person or what) [Mark Kolpak] basically said on Twitter that the 2022 scenes would have been the future if Enoch hadn't taken the team from the diner. Someone on Twitter asked if the 2022 scenes were the team after being in 2091 and returning to their regular time or if it was the team if Enoch hadn't gotten involved. Mark replied with, "your second assessment" or something like that ( DoTheMath posted it on page two of this thread). If that's the case, then the future can be changed. If it can't be changed, then what was the point of this storyline? I had a thought in the beginning about the destruction, but I'm sure it won't be the case. I thought if they wanted to tie it in with the movies, they could make Thanos (armed with infinity stones) the reason for the destruction. Only thing is, I'm not sure the timeline matches up with this. Goddamned, I read it wrong with my stupid cellphone. Well, even though I saw that entirely different in the ep. I have to take as a fact. I thought that it would be like Groundhog day, but with little changes in each loop. And the changes are little differences in what happens The Seer sees. And each time Enoch send his notebook to himself back in time and act a little differently, until the y get it right. EDIT; gonna neglect his comment, because it makes no sense whatsoever. The know about Voss, they know about Flint. And so much more that they can't know if it was the second assessment. You're missing something. Kolpak could be right. What if the memories we're seeing from Robin (and I assume all the near future scenes are flashbacks from Robin) are indeed her reality without Enoch's involvement. We never do see him, nor is he even mentioned. There is really nothing to say the entire team (or most of the team, including Fitz) wasn't sent into the future at some other time, by some other circumstances. Remember Enoch said they were taken at the diner because it was the last time they were seen together. It could be Coulson and Mack just weren't sent to the future with the rest of the team, and thus weren't with the rest when the disaster happened. Enoch could be the key that breaks the cycle. His involvement to stop the destruction is never seen by Robin because she didn't live through it. She died before the reality where Earth is not destroyed took place. Other stuff, because I'm doing backups and I'm bored. The notebook Enoch is writing in. IS IT THE SAME NOTEBOOK THAT COULSON HAS THAT BELONGED TO VIRGIL? Is that what Robin means when she says Coulson will bring everything together? General Hale is from the future, or at least is working for someone who does. After Fitz, Robin and Enoch escape, Evans and Lucas are killed because they know Robin knows the future. That's why Hale says she can't trust them anymore before writing them out of the script. If Robin's "visions" are of only her lifetime, what were the two drawings of the Zephyr in space that she tries to remind May of twice? (I assume it was the Zephyr, anyway.) Well, I hope she told May before she died... The last time we see Robin in "Rewind" (Ep 5), isn't she already in the Lighthouse? If so, why is she on the Zephyr going to the Lighthouse? The Gravitonium had what, 15 seconds of screen time? Still think it's the Gravitonium that breaks the world apart, or Daisy (who does know it's there) somehow makes it go 12+ on the Richter scale. I have heard Aquaangel's theory about Thanos, or Thanos using Quake and amping up her powers, but the sudden appearance of the Gravitonium makes so much more sense.

It does raise the question, though, as to how the team know about it. And how Robin got to be with them in the first place. Good call on the notebook, btw. Could be!

Robin could be with the team because they've returned from the future, they know she the key to all of this. Since her Mom never made it, it sounds like she was picked up post disaster. They had to get her because they know if they don't, humanity will be wiped out. We still don't know the Lighthouse's origin. Considering Zeke found the Framework servers, I wonder if the place doesn't have an Aida smell to it. She did have an incredible amount of resources at her disposal... The notebook was a big deal until they found people on the surface, then it disappeared. That was what, 5 eps ago? It was full of stuff Coulson said he couldn't figure out. Why wouldn't he have given it to FitzSimmons to look at? Because everyone's forgotten about it? Or do the writers hope you've forgotten about it by now...

I have heard Aquaangel's theory about Thanos, or Thanos using Quake and amping up her powers, but the sudden appearance of the Gravitonium makes so much more sense. I was just coming to post that everything in 2022 were "memories." Of all the players, Robin is the only one to live through the timeline from before the diner, through the diner, through the catastrophe, human attemps to survive pre-Kree and life in the lighthouse up to the time we've seen seen ep 1. Since terrigennisis, Robin cannot distinguish between past, present or future. Even though she saw everything unfold through her lifetime, they became memories - HER memories (even as a little girl, her vision instantly became memories) - regardless of timeline (and yes, there are two timelines). Time can be changed, and it's changing because Robin sends for SHIELD (including the destroyer of worlds) and has them whisked away to the future. AFAIC, pre-cataclism Daisy being swept away to the future, and that future believing she destroyed the world, is proof she DIDN'T do it (as I've said before). How could she have done it if she left before the incident (Voss, you dumbass)? So if Daisy didn't do it, who did? Logic theory dictates it wasn't Flint either. He wasn't alive then and Robin's "memories" all seem to point to him living the future. Flint could not have destroyed the Earth. However, he could be the one to save it if they take him back with them (as others have speculated) So, again, who destroyed the Earth?I agree with backroadjunkie. It was gravitonium (hopefully Graviton). If hale has an ally, it could be Dr. Franklin Hall. Don't forget the base she runs is basically an Indiana Jones warehouse. If the gravitonium somehow ended up there..... and she plays with it...... and meets Dr. Hal......................
Awesome idea. That one didn't occur to me. I'm gonna go back to the beginning and check it out. You should do backups more often.

Remember, as soon as SHIELD left the diner, the timeline changed. We're watching two timelines: diner and no diner. Old woman Robin grew old and died in the no diner timeline. Young Robin is still alive in the diner timeline. When Fitz and Enoch left to hibernate in Space: Robin, her (real) Mom and Hunter were left behind. Hunter said he and Bobbi would keep the girl safe. I surmise his intent wasn't to live in the lighthouse forever. With Zephyr One sitting outside, who do you think He'd call on to pilot Z1? Any guesses ayanami?

And now I'll really go off the rails:
Season will end with:
Robin's real mom dies and Coulson and May retire and adopt Robin
Mack and Elena adopt Flint
Daisy becomes Director of SHIELD (because we just KNOW it's gonna happen sometime)
Mr. and Mrs. FitzSimmons go to the Seychelles

DoTheMath, the point about Hunter and Bobbi taking care of Robin makes it even more possible that Deke is their relative.

And he's a cool character, so I wouldn't mind having him around more. I don't want to see Daisy as director anytime soon. I don't think she's ready yet. As for a FitzSimmons honeymoon, I'm all for it.

About that notebook: I have it in my headcanon that Coulson got rid of it in the time before he and May, Tess, Mack, and Elena were magnetized to those stairs in 5x03. Because you know that Grill would have searched all of them when Zev brought them back to Salvage.

He can't be adopted by Mack and Elena because he will fade from existence like Marty McFly and his brother and sister.

I'm wondering if it's just that he's needed to reassemble the monolith so the team can return and do whatever it is they need to do now to prevent the world's destruction.
