Fitz hid tissues on Level 3
May was awesome this ep.  Happy for @marle.  Hope she enjoyed this one; it was right up her ally.
This actually had "more Ming and less May"
Glad Ming-Na got to stretch her legs a bit.

Gonna do a re-watch before I submit my review......

My take:

Ah, this is why I hate time travel. So, let me see if I can recap.

Quake is blamed for the destruction of Earth because someone had a clip of her walking toward, what, the epicenter? (This also leads to the question why the city was evacuated, but we don't get that answer... yet.)

The Zephyr crashes after the catastrophe near the Lighthouse, but apparently far enough away that the Kree don't know of it's existence. Is this pre or post catastrophe? Doesn't matter, everyone lives.
EDIT:  It is post-apocalypse, and it's 2018.  Jemma states the "something" just went dark, and it's spreading too fast (I assume the cracking).  The lighthouse is still 200 miles out, and May is flying the Zephyr.  Robin says they'll survived the crash, and Jemma states they're hitting a gravity storm.  So May knows gravity storms from when she was flying the Zephyr, so I take back my criticism  about May not knowing about Gravity Storms.  And yes, everyone lives, but we don't know who everyone is.

Jump to 2022. It is three years post-apocalypse, and life support subsystems are failing. Fitz(2022) still thinks changing the future is impossible. That doesn't fit with Fitz(Present Day), so apparently Robin and Enoch have changed his mind. But he will design a machine he can't build that is to do exactly that. And they do seem to have full weight, so if the gravitonium is providing the gravity, it was pre-Kree.

The second scene in the near future, the Kree have already arrived and have provided power and an air filtration system. Yoyo is fed up and goes to attack the Kree. Mack is dead in this reality, so she has nothing to lose. (She will probably be sent to the surface. Someone has to refit the Zephyr...)

The third time we shown the near future is really disturbing. Robin has predicted Jemma's death. Fitz says, "We can't change time. We've tried a thousand times, it always ends the same. It's like a record that keeps on skippin', and we're repeating this loop again and again and again.... And every time, Jemma dies. They all die. Robin can't change it. Voss couldn't change it. Even Daisy couldn't change it. She saw the aftermath, and still destroyed the world."

That's not happy news...

May raised Robin? Whoa. That probably means May(2022) knows exactly what will happen, and believes it will happen, and gives Robin instructions on what to do in the future. Does this close the circle for May and Bahrain? With Enoch stating she should find another line of work in the last episode, and May's look at the end of the ep, I am fearful of May's future...


What is the notebook Enoch is always writing in?

Ha! Robin shows May a drawing of the Zephyr flying though space. Twice. So it's probably important. You would think someone would pay attention to her drawings a bit more. Does the Zephyr still fly, and will she be the lifeboat for the lighthouse and is the entire plane a time machine?

Mack finds the weapons stash, no problem. Someone explain that to me.
Flint: "Shotgun Axe. I get it now." HAhahaha. He should be Mack's kid...
EDIT: Doesn't Mack call Flint, "Pebbles" in the ep?  I didn't catch it on rewatch...

The scene with Yo-Yo and the cucarachas was epic.

Still don't know who built the Lighthouse.

And finally,

I am answering this with the benefit of a rewatch...


Not "put" the pieces together, but "He can bring all the pieces together." The pieces being the Team, Flint, and others?

May never says Flint needs to get back. She just ask who Flint was. But he is obviously the key to all this.


Could be dead, along with Mack. In the near-future timeline, they aren't grabbed by Enoch, so the events that happened are still a mystery.


My WAG is the picture Robin draws, Enoch isn't present when Robin is stabbed, so he made sure he wasn't there.


Because Enoch doesn't know anything? His experience with Earth is pre-disaster. Coulson/May does ask Enoch about Robin, but he really can't supply any information. (And Enoch is writing in his notebook previous to this.)


Good question. Not only at the end, but almost any time we see him in this episode.
