ok, one more to get the thread kicked off... from an under-the-radar band who gets far too little recognition.
It is a really fun song to play, onstage. I love this band, brief as they were.

dear god, bigvanray and DoTheMath , you are both right in my wheelhouse! I wore out the grooves on the LP's from Grand Funk, and I had *the most* incredible girlfriend who was a huge Queen fan...lets just say I'm glad my '75 Camaro had a moon roof. And an 8-track player. *really giant giggles over on this end* my that brings back some memories! |

At one point I had all of Queen's first 7 albums on 8 track. After those first 7 albums their style of music moved away from me. Never had a moon roof.
I recently finished reading Brian May's doctoral thesis. A lot of the technical details were over my head, but I learned what I could from it.

As a piano player, my ears are always quick to pick up the piano part in any song. The piano in this song rocks. The guitar playing is great too, but I love that piano part.
