I think it will be at most two episodes. Nothing is for long anymore with AoS. Don't forget that the DarkHold is the main stuff in this season. And I like this idea, gives us a chance to see the same characters in a different light which gives more depth to the characters. Well, it has potential. And I agree, the Darkhold seems to be the overall arc of the season. That being said, if we are going to create a new 'temporary' reality, PLEASE bring in Summer Glau as Daisy's long lost twin sister, with the will of their mother..now that I could get into. With passion. Well, then give me Coulson's ex-girlfriend in blue.

This one so much! Just imagine Coulson going full teacher mode, Fitz as a billionaire who was never estranged from his father (presumably), etc. Also, this development finally explains the sudden mention of Mack's daughter earlier this season and makes it much less of a wtf moment. Yeah, this made sense to the sudden arcline of Hope in his life. But likely the same is true with Fitz father. Though that couls also have been added to make the connecting with Radcliffe more meaningful and tell rhe fana that Radcliffe is not his father.

So don't take me wrong folks. I am far from giving up on this awesome show! Unfortunately, MayBot blew herself to hell.

I am not concerned with how many episodes take place in the Framework, but I do want there to be sufficient time spent on how the characters react to this new development. I do not want the crisis to be resolved at the end of the fourth season finale and have the fifth season premiere (fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc.) tell us about how this experience affected the characters rather than showing us how it did so.
For example, even before things got as bad as they did, Mack ripped into Fitz, blaming him for everything that went wrong. Mack may decide that he prefers to stay in the Framework with Hope, or one of them may die or be shipped off the show. If not, can Mack forgive Fitz? Fitz had already been feeling guilty on his own. How will he deal with this, especially when it will not be FitzSimmons save the day as it looked after episode 14.
Also, Simmons just had the experience of having someone with Fitz's face, Fitz's voice, Fitz's build, and Fitz's mannerisms stab her in the leg and bash her face. She had to respond by stabbing this entity to death (as far as she knows). She can tell herself till the cows come home that this was not Fitz, but there is no way that she can look at Fitz's face as she did before. This does not take into account finding out that Framework Fitz is involved with a woman who is not her. I do not want to be told how she deals with this. I want to see her deal with this.

May has always been one of my favourite characters and IMO she kept improving with each season.

HA! actually, I watched the first 3 episodes, and I did not dislike it, yet it never grabbed my interest. I was not aware that Amy had joined the cast. Thanks, now I have a new show to watch. I was needing one badly. I first became aware of her (along with Dichen Lachman) through the show Dollhouse.

One of my friend is a Whedonian, he saw all of Joss's work i think (Buffy,Angel, Firefly,Serenity, Dollhouse, Avengers 1&2, The Cabinet in the Woods as writer and Much Ado About Nothing)
He seems passionate about it, i'm going to watch everything one day....If I can find the time!
I've watched obviously the Avengers movies, the only thing left i've seen on the list is The Cabin in the Woods, it was pretty interesting!

I gave Buffy and Angel both a try, back when they aired. Just didn't get into it. Too 'teeny' for me. Remember, I am the old man of this forum. And, I fell in love with Firefly, and Dollhouse, even before I knew Joss Whedon was the producer of both, I had never even heard of him.. And Amy Acker was one of his 'go to' actresses. But it was Summer Glau that sucked me in. AND HERE I STAY. I want her on AoS SO much!~
