Why are they being so mysterious about what Kind of Supernatural Chuy is? I want to know if he too is an angel like in the books or something different. and am I the only one who wants to see a flashback scene of Lem rescuing Olivia from the men her mom/stepmom pimped her out to? Well, Bobo and Fiji finally kissed. It's about time. Creek's brother is an annoying little twerp sometimes. Her father needs to stop being a bully. She's an adult and he shouldn't dictate with whom she chooses to spend time. I'm kind of hoping her dad bites it soon. He's grating on my nerves even when he's not in the episode lol. Did the succubus walking backwards on her hands remind anyone else of the exorcist? Lol. You're way ahead of me on this as I have no knowledge of the books. I think Chuy and Joe will play pivotal roles in whatever the endgame of this show is. I think they're probably both fallen angels due to their relationship, but until we learn more about Chuy....... who knows? I'm glad Fiji finally got what she wanted. She's a great character and seems the most grounded of the midnighters. It's weird because on another show I watch, Bobo was the villain of the first season (and was just resurrected for the second). Seems weird rooting for a Bobo........ but, I like the character; he's a good hearted soul and knows how to kick some ass (pretty dumb to walk into a private room full of Sons of Lucifer, though). Creek's situation doesn't bother me as much as it does you. To me, it's understandable that Daddy wants to keep her safe. I'm sure there's some underlying story about why he's like that which we're not privy to yet. I do agree that the "annoying little brother/sister" thing is often overplayed on TV, but since protecting Creek seems the story for her family, it was at least consistent with that theme. I just hope they don't over do it as it will get old. This ep, overall, was underwhelming, but I won't give up on it yet...........

I don't have much knowledge on the books as I haven't read them. I just remembered what others said on the message board at the old site before they went down. I'm fine with wanting to protect his daughter as in "if you hurt her, I'll kick your a double s", but that guy is a bigger jerk about it than he needs to be. She seems fairly capable and not some fragile little thing. It sounds like Manfred is not the only guy he has been this way with. What's up? Is he planning on forcing her into an arranged marriage and wants her to stay chaste for that future hubby? If that's the case, got news for him, she's not that innocent lol.

By the way, is it just me or does Fiji remind anyone else of a younger version of Rae Dawn Chong?

I don't really have much to say about tonight's episode except for: I'm glad Creek finally told her dad that's she's an adult and he needed to stay out of her business. Oh and the dead ghost chick in this episode looks a little like that one woman from OUAT. The one who was also on House. For a split second I thought it was her. Also, it appears that Aubrey's hubby didn't kill her after all. Though I always thought that was too easy anyway. I've thought it was someone in town. Now about those previews for next week: I think the person in town who is a serial killer is Creek's father. When it showed Lem saying "how many have you killed?", it showed part of someone head/hair. It looks like a match to her dad. I doubt it's the brother. We know it's not BoBo or Manfred. The hairs doesn't match anyone else. Can't be Rev cause a) that's too predictable and B) the hair doesn't match. It definitely doesn't match Joe, Chuy or any of the women. so my bet is on Creek's dad and I think he killed Aubrey too.

Only got the first half hour; up to where they locked up Hightower in the room and Bobo got his azz kicked. Friggin sucks! I was really enjoying this ep. Seemed like it was the best one so far. Can you give me play-by-play on the rest of the ep?

Shows were thirty or more minutes behind due to a news special or something I think. Luckily, I had turned it over there and realized Ninja Warriors was still on, so then I set up the news on the dvr too just to make sure I got all of Midnight.
Here's my best recollection from the point you left off:
The Sons of Lucifer put Bobo in the room with Fiji. Peter told Fiji that Bobo was there with them when some church was bombed or burned down. He locked them in there. Since they were underground, the air became thin. Fiji used her magic (once Bobo took the patch off of her that was drugging her) to collect all of their air into a bubble that they could stand in. Lem killed all the bikers and rescued the couple. He took Fiji to the truck and told Bobo to hurry before the sun came out. Bobo had one last thing to do, but before he could, surprise: Peter was still alive. He said Bobo took a lot from him including his men and his wife. Bobo said he keeps telling him that he didn't kill Audrey. Peter has a knife, they struggle and Bobo ends up stabbing Peter. He then gets a grenade from the box of weapons and blows up all the weapons I think. He, Lem and Fiji leave.
Once Hightower sounds calmer, Manfred goes to talk to him. He tells him if he wants a life for a life, he got it. Not long after stealing the money, his grandma got cancer. That doesn't appease Hightower. Manfred says he can help him get closure by letting him talk to his dead daughter. They go back to the building with all the glass. The dead woman possesses Manfred to tell her father off. She killed herself because he used her like a means to an end, not because she was left at the altar by Manfred. She tries to choke her dad, but Manfred orders her out of his body. Hightower uses his power to make the glass stab into him to kill himself.
Manfred goes back to Midnight and Creek says she told her dad off and they don't have to hide their relationship anymore.
Bobo explains to Fiji that he was 17 when the church was bombed/burned and his father dragged him there without telling him what was going on. He stayed in the car and by the time he figured out what was happening it was too late. He left his family right after that. Fiji tells him she needs some time. He kisses her forehead and leaves.
I hope that helps, but if you have questions I will try to answer them.

Is that the preview for next week? If so, I'll check it on youtube.

So, it was the dad's head they showed in previews from last week. When Creek saw Connor's bruise, I started suspecting he was actually the killer and the dad was just covering for him. Lem seemed upset at having to kill Connor though. Glad Creek told her dad off for covering for Connor.
About Joe: why does he have to take his shirt off (not that I'm complaining, just curious) to get his wings out? The female angel in the preview didn't have to lol. He told Chuy in the voicemail if the other angels found out what Chuy was, they would "exterminate" him (after killing Joe). What on Earth could he be that would cause Joe to use that particular word? Is he a "good" demon? A zombie? A bug-man? What? It's driving me nuts. I want to know lol.

Are "they" from heaven or hell? Or Both? This was ep 6. Don't know how many are left. I think it's a ten ep season, but haven't been able to confirm. As for Joe..... I don't know if you watched the videos I posted but in one of them they said that they filmed in New Mexico and it was late Winter/early spring; and...... those nights were COLD. They joked that every time Joe took his shirt off, it was around 20 degrees. He suffered for you pleasure. They keep harping that Manfred is the key to solving midnight's problems, but I think Joe and Chuy are going to be integral. Like you, I can't wait to find out more about Chuy. That was a helluva teaser they dropped for the next ep. As for Connor/Creek and their dad.... I've seen shows where they played the forgive them or don't both ways and I can't say I like one more than the other. That scenario always lives in the grey areas and it seems that neither outcome is a feel-good ending . I wonder what will happen to dear old Pop? BTW: Creek is such a cool name for that character. I missed Grand ma this ep. Need some "hoot" in every ep. Preacher is pretty cool for a demonic hell beast Liking Fiji more and more each ep Bobo is such a Bobo Lem needs a snack (and I don't mean Olivia) If the veil keeps thinning, Manfred's gonna need a lot more drugs.

Ten episodes according to the old site. Also according to same site, Chuy was only in those past three episodes. He isn't supposed to appear anymore this season. The description for next episode says something about a bounty hunter angel, so I guess that's who the female angel in the preview is supposed to be.
