No wonder we are friends now! I had the distinct privilege of being at college in Austin, when he was still playing the local bar circuit. He even attended one of our wild-ass parties, back in the day. He took Little Wing away from Jimi Hendrix, and made it his own. One of the singular most beautiful guitar works ever recorded! I chose the album version to post, yet there are some great live performances out there as well.

ayanami: I gotta admit that "World War Z" is an incredibly cool name, but still, seems a bit pricey if you're just gonna ignore the whole rest of the novel.

ayanami: The book sounds really cool btw. It's about one guy 10 years after the zombie outbreak gathering different perspectives from a bunch of survivors, so you have like a dozen different stories/settings in the novel. Plus, the author is actually Mel Brooks'... Nov 24, 2024 23:12:58 GMT
