For what it's worth: ew.com/tv/2017/03/31/spoiler-room-westworld-greys-anatomy-once-upon-time/Any news on an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. renewal? — TomasNo word yet, but the powers that be are working toward a season, not series, finale. “We are going to make it a thrilling end regardless, but we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon,” executive producer Jed Whedon says.

I'd say that is a pretty encouraging sign! although, shouldn't the season finale pretty much be in the can by now? I'm not all that educated on shooting/production schedules, but gosh, they had a pretty long break.

Anyone watch 'Enterprise' season 4 when they found out nearly at the end of filming that they were cancelled?
The season 4/series finale was rushed and is considered one of the biggest upsets of all of Star Trek?
Why am I worrying Marvel will be rivaling that...?

I have watched every single thing the Star Trek universe ever produced, from the moment TOS aired in the '60s. And 'Enterprise' was a surprisingly good show, though it had its flaws as well. As we all do. For example, I think it was DoTheMath that claimed Janeway was a near-favorite captian.. nooo not in this house . If I had to pick a least fav series, it would be Voyager... but then I'm not trying to take this thread down a wormhole to where it doesn't belong... I may have to think some more about biggest upsets of ST and go make some posts in that thread.

Oh, I was watching FarScape on SyFy when we were told the show was renewed for S4 and 5. They had just finished wrapping S4 when SyFy said, "Yeah, about that..." I'm still a bit salty about that little move. 😡

I'm still mad about ABCFamily (now freeform) doing that to KyleXY and NBC doing that to "The Others". Both series left huge cliffhangers. Thankfully, the show runners/creators of Kyle put out a video online detailing where the story would have gone, so at least we have closure there somewhat. Too bad these series pre-dated Netflix and the like.
Hopefully ABC will not do this to AOS, or if it does, that Netflix will pick it up.

Although I think that's a product of me not being involved in the ST fandom at all until only last year and then only watching TNG and Enterprise (also TOS but that was more for the 60's feel of the show rather than it being the original series.)

caseyrook AKA Mechelle I liked it too. But lets bump this conversation to the Star Trek board, where it belongs. See you there

The worst had to be The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Either the showrunners were completely blindsided or completely sadistic.

I hate to say it but....ratings for this last episode were in the toilet. People need to watch this show LIVE. My gut still tells me this is the end.
