Ok, maybe someones asked it already. I mean, the SHIELD team is practically unconscious now, dipped into AIDAs Framework. Meanwhile, in the real world, SHIELD is under investigation in Congress (remember that episode where Nadeers men caught Coulson and Elena in her office?), Talbot is not on good terms with Coulson, and every other SHIELD agent is practically without leadership. What do you think is happening out there? Will SHIELD go back into the shadows? Could this be the plot point that would get Piper and the rest of the background agents to step up? Ideas? Also, its my first time on this forum so ... Hello!

Also, its my first time on this forum so ... Hello! Hello, and welcome. If you're inclined, you can more formally introduce yourself here: shieldinexile.freeforums.net/thread/21/where-all-fun-optionalTBH, I haven't thought about that in a while; but now you got my gears turning...... I think the writers kind of swept all that investigation stuff under the rug by blowing up the base. Also, if Talbot has any pull and the actual balls to be up front about it, that was a sanctioned op. Talbot was in the pre-op meeting (and I don't remember seeing him with his fingers in his ears singing La La La La......). He should be able to fix this by getting an executive order from POTUS..... again, if he has the balls to do the right thing. Oh, wait.... I forgot.... Coulson has his balls in the palm of his (robo?) hand after catching Talbot and Mace in that big fat lie. It's also possible that Vijay could come to the rescue when he quits doing his Inhuman Namor impersonation..... Vijay can testify that Sen. Ellie was working with the Watch Dogs. Yes, Piper and Co. have no choice but to step up as they're all that's left (that we know of). Piper, Yo-Yo and the Agents of Red Shirts are really going to have to step up their game......

Welcome! π These are all really good questions, and as it's said some of pod3 is Framework and some is real world, I bet Piper and the rest of the Agents of Redshirts will play some part in resolving all of this. Vijay will be back, too. I personally hope pod3 resolves the whole Watchdog storyline.

Just want to say Welcome agent12b , along with the others, to what will soon be your new favorite website! Take some time and explore, the Common room is particularly useful. I agree with Jems, those are all good questions. At least we don't much longer to wait and find out!

Also, its my first time on this forum so ... Hello! Things I'd like to add to that list: Did they ever officially announce what happened to Senator Nadeer? That the guy who blew up the office was one of the Watchdogs? Seriously can't remember right now. Also, what are Aida and the Superior up to right now? (Except hooking up?) She gave him the job of protecting the framework, but personally, I'm not so sure if I would follow the orders of a crazy robot who's keeping my head in a jar on her table after she was the one who hacked it off! But, well, that's just me. For real, though, the superior has read the (whole) Darkhold by now, he has a new body with superhuman strength and somehow I can't imagine that "protecting the framework" will only consist of finding some nice spot to park the submarine and hide from the remains of Shield forever. With most (all?) of their assets inside Shield gone, Aida has to become more pro-active if she wants to fulfill her core directive, otherwise it's just a matter of time until someone catches up with her.

I've been thinking about this too! I thought it was weird that Daisy and Jemma in particular (as she would've most likely been the highest ranking agent on base) just up and left the base and it's agents to fend for themselves as they were being taken over by killer robots whilst the girls just flew away. I suppose they had to prioritize saving their friends lives aka a group of some of the most senior agents in Shield and the Director over staying in the real world. I imagine another high ranking agent will now be looking after Shield or something (maybe even Elena?)

I imagine another high ranking agent will now be looking after Shield or something (maybe even Elena?) Jemma and Daisy had avatars waiting for them in the framework. That's why they went. Their friends' bodies are running out of time. Plus, they might be able to locate the real time framework while they are in there. Plus, what's happening is taking place over a relatively small amount of time.
