Ok, maybe someones asked it already. I mean, the SHIELD team is practically unconscious now, dipped into AIDAs Framework. Meanwhile, in the real world, SHIELD is under investigation in Congress (remember that episode where Nadeers men caught Coulson and Elena in her office?), Talbot is not on good terms with Coulson, and every other SHIELD agent is practically without leadership. What do you think is happening out there? Will SHIELD go back into the shadows? Could this be the plot point that would get Piper and the rest of the background agents to step up? Ideas? Also, its my first time on this forum so ... Hello! I'd say, with Nadeer being out the picture, that the heat of the investigation against Shield has died down some. She was the backbone pushing it. To the public, she died in a bombing. There's probably an investigation into that but that's not against Shield. Plus, what's happening now isn't over a long period of time. I'm sure Shield will remain stable until they return. I don't see Shield going into the shadows. They've gone into too much trouble to bring them out. I'm pretty sure they did this to bring them back in the movies. It wouldn't surprise me to see Shield in Black Panther oR the next Avenger movies.

I just thought about something. I honestly don't recall anything revealed to us telling that SHIELD even exists in the Framework. All I remember seeing is Hydra and Inhumans. Have I missed something?

This kinda relates to the discussion we've been having over in the recently bumped " (Spoilers) Please don't take too long...." thread, as to when Hydra took over the world. If it happened during the events of The Winter Soldier (go watch that one already!!!) or at some other point that Coulson's absence within Shield has influenced (which would be my guess), then Hydra would have taken over Shield's position and there would be no reason for them to refer to that name anymore in their propaganda. I'd say it would even be counter-productive. If the changes to the world's history in the framework go much further back, though, maybe even to WWII and Captain America, then Shield might have never existed in the first place, and Hydra would have thrived in its place from the get-go.
