Already 1/6 of the way through the first season! LOL
Loved the first mini-surprise (at least to me since I avoid trailers etc.) villain. I was glad it wasn't too easy as you can't have characters that went toe-to-toe with elite heroes being dispatched too easily by others.
Not sure I will get used to watching these first thing in the morning LOL. But with social media I think I'll have to.

Now, that is the way to start a series.
I enjoyed that much more than I though I would.
And just goes to show, Sam should have kept the shield...

Goes to show, NEVER trust the government. I could definitely do without the Sam getting a loan drama. Just seems like filler there to create angst for him. Bucky trying to make amends is ok since that's probably what will lead to him teaming up with Sam.

Remember this was supposed to be Marvel's first entry into Disney+. It's probably going to be more involved with fallout from the Blip than WandaVision.
And yeah, the loan scene was not only unnecessary, but probably unrealistic given his status. Pepper/Steve Rogers would have given him a loan without blinking an eye. (The only reason I mention Rogers, is he knew what to invest in, and could have become quite wealthy without even trying.)
I assume there'll be a payout for the loan denial later. Now that Bucky's been pardoned, I wonder if he had any investments from the 1930's or 40's and can bail Sam and his sister out and become partners. Wouldn't that be fun, lol...
Bucky needs to suck it up and tell the old man what he knows.
I think the naming the new Cap is the reason the two will get back together to reclaim the shield and title of Captain America.
Probably spoiler, lol...
Walker in the comics is an SOB. He's a super-villain, the sort of an anti-Captain America. In Falcon and Winter Soldier, he's probably the newest version of the super-soldier program, because we haven't seen the last of Ross and his quest to perfect the serum...

(The only reason I mention Rogers, is he knew what to invest in, and could have become quite wealthy without even trying.) That doesn't seem like something Steve would feel comfortable doing. He would consider that "cheating" I think. That stated, I do agree that the loan denial trope was a bit odd - I assume it's to set something up.

Actually, I watched on my computer monitor so I didn't have a huge picture, but when Bucky went to the guy's home the picture behind the incense didn't look like the same person Bucky killed to me. I figured that's why he was looking a the piece of paper with the guy's name written on it. He had the wrong person with the right name.
As far as the new Cap goes, I had a feeling something was being foreshadowed when the kids called Falcon, "Uncle Sam".

Interesting observation. I took it as just Bucky getting a bit spooked by seeing the shrine, but didn't look very closely. I'm stuck watching on PC as well as there's still no platform in Canada that carries D+ onto TV. And I haven't yet decided to get Apple play or something.

Hard to tell, since in one he's smiling, and the other he's terrified. Uses different facial muscles, lol... Maybe. But they are his sister's kids, so he is their uncle. Heck, I even have an Uncle Sam. No really. My Mom's brother.

I'm stuck watching on PC as well as there's still no platform in Canada that carries D+ onto TV. And I haven't yet decided to get Apple play or something. My monitors are hooked up via DVI, so I have a spare HDMI port on my video card. I'm running a cable between the PC and a spare HDMI port on my TV, and it looks great. (My drivers also exports the audio via HDMI, so it uses the TV's sound system.)
So I'm receiving on my PC and just using the TV as a monitor. It displays at full-HD and sounds great.
If you've got the spare ports on your PC and TV, give it a try...

I tried connecting my laptop to my big tv in the main room once (with HDMI) but it was all weird so i didnt try hard more Well, there is a caveat. Your PC (or laptop in your case) has to export (or at least emulate) the same screen size as your TV. Usually, that's 1920px x 1080px, or FullHD. Some laptop video cards can't reach that resolution. The output resolution (under Display Settings) has to be able to match your TV settings, or things will look rough on the TV. Some TV's are good at re-interpolating the signal to emulate FullHD, but not all do.
Your chances of getting the right resolutions are better on a desktop PC or maybe a gaming laptop...

So with the references in episode 2 to "the big 3" I can't help but wonder if at some point some character will mention a "big four" with mutants being the new addition.
I don't think there will be much else this series about mutants, but a nod to them might happen.

Well its supposed to be a gaming laptop... The problem with video on laptops that I run into a lot, is they're optimized for their display. Makes sense, but when you export video to another device, it's still being optimized for the original screen size. (For instance, my last laptop was only 720p, and it could only emulate a full 1080p when exporting to a 1080p TV.)
Make sure the output resolution matches your TV. If you're using a modern version of Windows, it should auto-detect the TV if you're connected via HDMI. Just make sure the drivers are set for the TV and not the laptop screen.
If you're using an older laptop/display adapter that uses VRAM, you may find you don't have enough memory to do full-HD (1920x1080). I'm not sure what message is generated if that occurs these days. It may only export a portion of the picture...
