Wow, so, after having been delayed for TWO FRICKING YEARS it looks like Marvel's New Mutants is finally hitting theaters next month!

It looks like the horror-themed movie about five young mutants dicovering their powers had to be moved repeatedly due to in-house competition (Deadpool 2, Dark Phoenix) on the one hand and troubles to get the cast back together for planned reshoots on the other. I guess if your cast features actors like Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), with leading roles in big TV shows at the time, that's not really surprising.

Seriously, at this point I think the corona virus only broke out, because New Mutants was finally going to hit theaters!

Seems about right...

While Disney/Marvel has just released the updated release schedule for phase 4 of the MCU, New Mutants does not have a new release date yet. At this point it's probably straight to some streaming site or something like that.
