AoS6_9 -- Collision Course (Part 2)
Executive summary: Someone tell me this wasn't the best ep of the season.
Prologue. Well, it's not really a prologue, since it's the direct continuation from last week's show. No set up (other than the scenes from last week's show), we go right into the action.
The opening scene shows a crop irrigation machine, and the semi rushes by. The semi is still speeding toward the tower, but not exactly directly, since the semi stays on a road. (Someone get that software to Elon Musk.)
Cut to a real time threat board on the Zephyr, showing the truck (labeled TMR SRG/VTP 873.22), heading for the tower, which looks remarkably like a Christmas Tree, complete with ornaments, lights and a tree topper. On another part of the board, Izel's ship (labeled TMR ZTX UNIDENT/VTP AERIAL/FLR AXIS TN 27763.33) is approaching as well from above.
Yo-Yo: Six minutes to impact.
Agent Diaz: Local law enforcement is on standby.
Mack: Tell me they can slow down that truck.
Agent Diaz: Negative. No units in range.
Mack: All right, Davis. How close can we get to that rig?
Davis: Not very, the Zephyr's too big. Our wake could topple them.
Yo-Yo: What about the Quinjet?
Mack: Do you think you can extract them in time?
Yo-Yo: Trust me. That's what I do.
Mack: All right, go ahead. Prepare the Quinjet. (To Davis.) You heard the plan. Get in range until Yo-Yo can deploy.
Davis: All right, copy that.
Mack: After all this, Sarge is making a sacrifice move. It doesn't add up.
Davis: Doesn't sound like someone who'd play a martyr to me.
Mack: Yeah... (To himself.) So what are we missing.
Cut to the storage bay, Sarge is handing out guns. That's what your missing Mack. Why don't you have video surveillance in there. They already escaped once...
Sarge: Jaco and I will take the bridge, Pax, you lock down the engine bay and we get this ship out of here before the warhead blows.
Pax: Sounds great. Except for the glaring flaw in the plan.
Sarge: Enlighten me.
Pax: The fast lady? How are we supposed to stop her?
Jaco: The girl with mechanical arms can achieve abnormally high velocity, which can be an abnormally large pain in the ass.
Sarge: Come on. How long we been doing this?
Pax: Shelter charges. I haven't seen these in a while.
Sarge: Once the field gets up, no one goes in or out. Doesn't matter how fast.
Jaco: Careful Pax. These things run hot, remember?
Pax: Remember? That image scarred me for life. Not as badly as the guy who got his face fried off, 'cause he's dead, but still...
Jaco: What about Snowflake?
Sarge: Sorry Jaco. She couldn't make it out in time. But we owe it to Snow to see this through. So, what do you say we go get ourselves a new spaceship?
Jaco: She'd like that.
Title card.
Meanwhile, Izel's spaceship has entered Earth's atmosphere.
Simmons: We're five minutes out (thanks for that time update, Jemma), how's it going with the comms?
Fitz: Swimmingly. Couldn't be better. Been at this for hours, and I still can't transmit signals. So....
Simmons: All right. Well, keep trying. We may have better luck closer to the... (She looks at the zombified crew walking around.) Fitz? Found the crew. Gathering silently. Staring into the middle distance.
Fitz: That's not normal... To state the obvious.
Simmons: Are they infected? Some alien micro-organism?
Fitz: Maybe it's one of your little puff parties.
Simmons: Nah, don't think so. They lack joy.
Fitz: Wekk, what ever that is, we can't let that reach us.
Simmons: Pathogen or parasite, before we land, we'll have to try to determine the cause and... (Izel enters the lower deck.) I think I found the cause.
Izel climbs the stairs to the bridge.
Izel: Ready for our arrival?
Simmons: Can't wait. Izel, does the crew seem to be feeling okay?
Izel: Well, they're not feeling anything. We agreed these rogues are all mindless fools, right? So I gave them a... higher purpose.
Simmons: How generous of you.
Fitz: What purpose do you mean, exactly?
Izel: Oh, you're afraid you'll end up like them. I wouldn't dream of it. You underestimate your value.
Simmons: More than you've already paid?
Izel: You have no idea how rare it is to find intelligent beings like you in the galaxy. Someone to talk to. Who sees the possibilities. Which is why I needed Terran expertise.
Fitz: Earth... Has possibilities?
Izel: Wait until you see what we built on your planet.
Cut to her tower. It's still growing, and in the distance the spaceship approaches. Meanwhile the semi is still speeding toward the tower.
Deke: Just because I'm at the top of my game doesn't mean I can defuse alien explosives. I need more time, okay? (May comes into the trailer.)
May: Three minutes 'till collision. How's it looking?
Daisy: Like we have three minutes to live. (HAhahaha...)
Snow: Everything's fine. My consciousness will melt into the cosmos. I'll merge with the infinite.
Deke: Babe, babe, babe, babe, babe. Let's not talk about the infinite right now. Let's just talk about this bomb. What do you know about that?
Snow: Nothing. Just that the slightest impact will cause it to split the tiniest unit of matter in half, which makes a big noise.
Daisy: That's an atom bomb. You just described an atom bomb!
Snow: I hear it's pretty.
Daisy: Do you know what that means?
Deke: It means I'm in over my head.
May: Deke, focus. You reverse engineered alien garbage your entire life. I need you to not screw up right now.
Deke: This could vaporize an entire cities.
Daisy: Hey, look at me. This is very hard. But if there's anyone who can do it, it's...
(at same time)
Daisy: ...you
Deke: Deke Shaw.
Deke: Yeah, you're right. Okay Deke, (looks at snow) time to dazzle. (Kneels in front of bomb.) Time to dazzle... (Starts to work on bomb.
On the Zephyr.
Davis: Okay, Rodriguez is clearing the fuel line. Quinjet's set to detach.
Mack: Agent Diaz, I want you to take the controls. Get there fast. Now remember don't to do any...
Sarge fires toward Mack and Diaz. Diaz pulls a gun, Sarge shoot her. Mack goes for the gun.
Sarge: Ah-ah.
Mack raises his hand, Agent Diaz is bleeding. Guns that shoot energy bolts causes bleeding? But I digress.
Sarge: Let me guess. You didn't see this one coming.
Mack: I knew you had an exit strategy.
Sarge: Be thankful. In a few moments, the threat to your planet will be vaporized, and we'll be flying away. Sitting pretty. (Jaco sets up the Shelter Charge.) Just precautionary measure in case your fast friend tries anything stupid.
Yo-Yo steps into the Zephyr, and sees the Pod and the bay empty. She sees the guard on the floor and goes to check on him.
Sarge: And this is in case you try anything stupid. (Puts handcuffs on Mack.) So here's how this is going to go down. You make sure your crew follows my orders, and if not, I put her out of her misery. (Points to Diaz.) Simple, right? Now turn this ship around.
Mack: Agent Davis. Get us out of here.
The Zephyr turns around. In the semi, Deke is working on the bomb.
Deke: I can't do it. I can't do it. This is happening.
Daisy: You said it was time to dazzle.
Deke: I'm sorry. I tried.
Snow: Actually, I'm not fine. I am not fine at all.
Deke goes to hold Snow, Daisy goes and holds May's hand. A look of determination flies across Daisy's face, and...
Commercial. For Emergence. Thought the lighthouse was *our* lighthouse, lol...
The semi heads turns off the road, and into the tower, releasing hundreds/thousands of Shrike. The entire tower collapses. Inside, Daisy is... doing something to the bomb. Let's call it Quakeballing... ;-) The bomb does not explode. Daisy falls back in exhaustion.
Daisy: Well, that worked.
Deke: We did it! (No Deke, Daisy did it.) We're still alive! Free spa day for everyone, on me! (Deke and Snow kiss. Daisy and May look on in disgust.)
May: Hey! We're not out of this yet.
Deke: Buzz kill. No shiatsu for you.
Daisy: We're still stuck with a live nuke, and whatever else is out there.
May: Imagine what happens when Sarge notices it didn't go boom.
Cut to the Zephyr.
Sarge: What just happened? Why the hell didn't the bomb go off?
Jaco: Did you remember to calibrate the firing rod to the new telemetry?
Sarge: This is not my first warhead.
On the spaceship. Izel knows the tower has been destroyed.
Izel: It's been destroyed. We're in danger. (To Fitzsimmons) And now you are too. Were you aware that my tower would be attacked?
Fitz: No. Hey, absolutely not. We have no idea what's happening on Earth.
Izel: Perhaps I overestimated your intelligence.
Simmons: Wait, we don't know what happened on the ground, but we have friends who will help.
Izel: I don't think you understand the consequences if they cannot.
Simmons: I promise, we just need a few more minutes with the comms.
Fitz: Yes. Then we'll be able to reach them.
Izel: Make Contact. Now. While you can still talk. (To Boyle) Take us to the upper atmosphere. Either Earth is more hostile than I thought, or he's already here.
To the Zephyr.
Sarge: No, no, no!
Jaco: She's getting away.
Sarge: Dammit! (To Davis) Set a course to that spacecraft. (Davis looks at Mack, who nods. Sarge pulls his gun.) I'm in charge, and I can quiet any doubts you have about that really quick. Now follow that ship.
Elsewhere in the Zephyr, Pax is getting ready to set up the Shelter charge, when it disappears from his hand. Pax readies his weapon, when Yo-Yo kicks him in the chest, and handily throws him against the wall. See what training with May does?
Pax: You're too late. We've taken the bridge.
Yo-Yo: Then I'll take it back.
Pax: We've already thought of that sweetheart.
On the bridge:
Mack (to Diaz): Hang in there. (To Sarge) As much as I want to stop that ship, maybe we should regroup with our people on the ground first.
Sarge: Stay out of this.
Mack: It's not just my team. Snowflake's down there too. (Jaco looks at Sarge.)
Sarge: You don't get how this works. You're the hostage. So shut the hell up until I ask you to talk.
Jaco: Maybe it's not a bad idea. We could use Snow's help.
Sarge: Not when we're this close. What do we always say? No one slows us down.
Jaco: You say that. Snow's not no one. She's been with us for years.
Mack: And we've been chasing Izel for longer. Snowflake knew the risks, and it won't make a damn difference...
Suddenly, Pax is right in front of the Shelter barrier. He is mumbling something through his gag.
Sarge: Don't take the bait!
Pax (muffled through the gag): Don't take the bait? Take the bait!
Yo-Yo yo-yo's and pushes Pax into the barrier. Pax starts screaming. Jaco lowers the barrier and Mack's hands move. Sarge shoots and kills Pax. Jaco is on the other side of the barrier, as Sarge reactivates it.
Sarge: No one slows us down. Go handle her. (Jaco is pissed. But probably not at SHIELD. Sarge, to himself.) No one slows us down.
Mack looks in his hand, and there's a key to the handcuffs.
On the semi.
Daisy: What a mess.
May: I know. They should have strapped more of this gear down.
Daisy: No, I'm talking about them. (Deke and Snow.) I don't know which one has worse taste.
May: She's a serial killer. (HAhahahaha) We need to get that nuke away from civilians. Let's get the lay of the land and check for hostiles.
May and Daisy open the door, and the field is empty, no sign of the tower. But there are thousands of Shrike flying in the air, and they start to head to the semi. May shuts the door.
Snow: I'm sensing a lot of negative energy out there.
May: Insightful. Thank you. (And snow looks pleased at the compliment. Deke walks into the back with that device smoking.)
Deke: You can probably guess that this means.
Daisy: That you have one less thing in development?
May: Snow. With out the repeller, how long can this trailer hold them off?
Snow: I don't know. We never stuck around long enough to find out.
On the spaceship:
Fitz: This is all I can think to do, so if this doesn't work,
Simmons: Then I suppose we'll find a "Higher Purpose".
Fitz: Ever the optimist.
Simmons: Funny what space travel does to you.
Fitz: In that year, did anyone change the distress code?
Simmons: Thankfully not.
Izel: How much longer?
Fitz: Yeah. One moment. (Turns dial, suddenly hears static. Simmons pushes a button.)
Simmons: This is SHIELD 226, does anyone copy? This is SHIELD 226, does anyone copy?
Davis (on Zephyr): We copy, do you read me?
Simmons: Yes. This is Agents Fitz and Simmons with SHIELD 226.
Davis: It's good to hear your voice, Simmons.
Simmons: Davis, is that you?
Davis: Affirmative. This is Agent Davis, also with SHIELD 226.
Simmons: Davis, I think you've confused your call signs.
Davis: No, I'm pretty sure I'm 226, just like you.
Simmons: Copy that, loud and clear. (Sarge puts gun on Davis)
Davis: Ah, Simmons, are by any chance on that spacecraft that just entered the upper atmosphere?
Simmons: Yes, we are, and in fact it seems our landing site was compromised.
Sarge hits a switch. How does he know which switch to hit?
Sarge: Whoever the hell is talking, I know someone else is listening.
Simmons: Coulson?
Sarge: I got a message. I killed your Shrike, I destroyed your tower, and I'm coming for you next, Izel.
Izel: Ah, so you finally remember my name. Come for me. And I'll help you remember yours.
commercial.
Fitz: You said he was dead. Can't be him.
Simmons: Then why does it sound exactly like Coulson?
Izel (to Sarge): Seems you're still not sure what to call yourself.
Sarge: I never put much stock in names. I prefer actions.
Izel: And yours are lacking.
Sarge: Last time I checked, I took down your crew, almost got you too.
Izel: All you had to do was destroy the entire planet in the process.
Sarge: You had already infected Chronica by the time I got there. I severed the limb, stopped the spread.
Izel: Oh! A hero. What is it you always said, "People fantasize about doing something heroic, but in the end, they save their own skin." Who's skin are you saving now? Just the one you're wearing, I hope.
Sarge: Come see me and find out!
Izel: I will. It's time for you to come to your senses. Or to a close. I don't want to destroy you, but if I must, I will.
Sarge: Funny I can't wait to kill you.
Izel: Are you sure?
Sarge: Dead certain.
Izel: Tell me. Why is that?
Sarge: Because you robbed me of my family, the woman I love, my home, and you took the one thing I had left. My memories of them.
Izel: It's not that I stole your memories, Sarge. It's that you never had any to begin with.
Izel breaks the connection.
Sarge: Get me to that ship. Now.
On the spaceship.
Izel (to FitzSimmons): You recognized his voice. You know him. You've been conspiring against me all along?
Fitz: No, no, no conspiring. Honestly we're the opposite. We're anti-conspiratorial. We knew somebody who sounds just like him. But he's dead.
Simmons: Please Izel, there has to be some explanation.
Izel: It's simple. You're telling lies. (She motions to two guards.)
Fitz: Okay, all right, okay. Just wait a moment. (Fitz and Simmons take their guns.)
Izel: Saving your own skin.
FitzSimmons flees. They come to a dead end corridor.
Simmons: Now where to we go?
Fitz: I've got an idea, but you're not going to love it. Come on.
On the semi.
Daisy: I don't think this truck can last much longer.
May: What about the cloaking?
Snow: It won't work. Cloaking hides us from you, not them.
Deke: Looks like we might die together after all.
Snow: Did you say, "We"?
Deke: I mean, I also said, "Die."
May: All right, everyone grab a blade. (Gets out Shrike killing knives.) Don't let anything near the bomb.
Snow: Don't worry, Tinker designed these windows to withstand any type of...
Glass breaks, a Shrike flies in, Deke screams (open mouthed), and... A Shrike flies right onto May's blade in front of Deke's face. Great reflexes there, May
May: This close to shutting you up.
Daisy: Barricade the windows. Come on!
They start to cover the windows with metal panels. The banging on the truck continues.
On the Zephyr, Jaco walks into the lab. His gun gets taken away. He then finds himself in handcuffs. He turns around, and Yo-Yo is standing there.
Jaco (laughing): Nice trick. (He then snaps the handcuffs. Yo-Yo is about to attack, but Jaco holds her off.) Easy. I'm trying to save your planet.
Yo-Yo: By slaughtering innocent people?
Jaco: We all make sacrifices.
Yo-Yo: So you're okay with the killing Jaco? (Jaco looks away.) How is that strategy working out for you? Save a lot of planets lately?
Jaco: Sarge is doing the best he can. But he's been at this a while. He wasn't always a killer.
Yo-Yo: And you were a baker. The runt. Is this what your family would have wanted?
Jaco: They'd want me to stop the beast that took them away from me.
Yo-Yo: Now that would be a nice trick.
On the Zephyr, who is catching up to Izel's spaceship.
Sarge: Faster!
Davis: We're at top speed.
Sarge: Then drop some weight. The crew if you need to, just get me to that damned ship!
Mack: I guess that woman did get to you. It sounded like a war of words that she won.
Sarge: Shut the hell up. Maybe we should drop some weight. Maybe we start with you.
Mack: Just trying to help, it's been a rough day for your master plan.
Sarge (points weapon at Diaz): Keep talking.
Mack: What, your bomb didn't blow, your boy Jaco's still gone, and I can't shake this feeling that by the end of the day, I'm getting my plane back.
Sarge: You're not going to make it to the end of the...
Mack is free. A fight ensues for the next full 60 seconds of screen time, and Sarge get's beat to heck by Mack.
Mack: Stand down!
Sarge: Not a chance. (Mack smacks him around some more.)
Mack: I said, stand down.
Jaco enters the bridge with Yo-Yo.
Sarge: Jaco.
Jaco: It's over Sarge.
Sarge is ready to hit Mack again, and Mack knocks him out.
Mack: Told ya'. (BWahahahaha...)
commercial.
Sarge wakes up on the floor of the containment pod. Outside the pod, Mack and Yo-Yo are preparing for Fitz-Simmon's extraction.
Mack: All right, this is an extraction. You get in. You get out. If you see the beast, do not engage under any circumstances.
Yo-Yo: We're really going in without those blades.
Mack: Yeah.
Yo-Yo: What happens if we see a bird zombie?
Mack: Shoot it.
Yo-Yo: And when it gets back up?
Mack: Shoot it again.
Davis: Quinjet is still prepped for launch.
Sarge: You'll never get off that ship alive.
Mack: We won't leave our people behind. I know how radical that must sound to you.
Sarge: Take me with you. I've spent years tracking Izel, studying her every move, all for a chance like this. I have to do this. You don't understand what you're up against.
Yo-Yo: You're right. And that's why we're bringing Jaco along. But thanks, anyway.
Mack: Let's move.
Jaco stares at Sarge, and walks off-stage. Sarge is pissed. Well, Sarge, that's what you get for being an firetruck. On the semi, the crew is still trying to cover all the windows.
May: Snow! (Hands her a metal panel.)
Daisy: They're going to break through.
May: They're coming in from every angle.
Daisy: Fall back. Protect the bomb.
May: What are you doing?
Daisy: Letting them in. (Daisy walks to the side door of the truck.)
May: Here. (Hands out knives.)
Daisy opens the door, the music stops. She drops her knife. Hmmmm. She looks more blond in this shot, and has a severe expression on her face. Maybe the most severe we've seen on her.
Deke: Daisy! What are you doing? Maybe one at a time we can handle, but this...
May: It's a choke point.
Daisy: Hold your positions.
The Shrike gather outside. They fly in, and all crumble to dust as they do. Daisy does this without her arms, just by concentrating. The crew sighs with relief.
Snow: Are all the females on your planet this powerful?
May: They are. (Well, no they're not, but this is hollywood writers we're talking about...)
On the spaceship. Zombie Toad and Zombie Boyle are looking for FitzSimmons. They are hiding in the same space Enoch was at the start of the season.
Fitz: You smell nice. (A smile appears on Simmons' face, lol...)
Exterior view of spaceship, with the Quinjet approaching and landing. Not bad SVX for a television show. A bang is heard, and a large chunk of the ceiling fall in. Davis, Mack and Yo-Yo rope in, Jaco just jumps down.
Davis: I'll take point. Me and the ship go way back...
Mack: You got it.
Yo-Yo: What happened to the crew?
Davis: Oh, I'm sure they're just fine.
(Izel humming.)
Jaco: That's her.
Mack: Hey, remember, SHIELD is a capture, not kill outfit. Until we can verify the condition of the crew, proceed with caution.
They turn a corner, and Jaco shoots a crew member.
Mack: What did I just say? (Crew member gets back up.) Oh. Never mind. Good call. Good call. (Lololol... And Mack slugs the crew member. Other hosts appear.)
Jaco: I'll hold them off. Get your friends.
Mack: Davis. Back him up.
Davis and Jaco start shooting, Fitz and Simmons hears the gunfire in their hiding place.
Fitz: That sounds like SHIELD.
Simmons: I've never been so happy to hear live ammunition.
The panel they're hiding behind opens, and Fitz and Simmons gets pulled out by Zombies Toad and Boyle. Suddenly, they're chained to a valve. They've been Yo-Yo'd.
Mack: Turbo! It's so good to see you! (And he gives...Turbo a giant bear hug.)
Fitz: Okay. Hi sir, okay. That's a bit tight, that is.
Mack: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We should go. Come on, let's go.
Fitz: Yeah...
Meanwhile, Davis and Jaco are searching. Izel is on he bridge. Jaco sees her, Davis looks to where Jaco is looking.
Davis: Jaco. You heard the orders. We are not to pursue under any circumstances.
Jaco: We can end this.
Davis: All right. You take the stairs, I'll flank around back.
Jaco climbs the stairs... And Davis is already there?
Jaco: Where is she?
Davis: Not here.
In another corridor:
Yo-Yo: How many of the crew members have turned into those zombie things?
Fitz: All of them.
Yo-Yo: That's not a number. (They meet up with Davis and Jaco.)
Jaco: We almost had her. We need to go back.
Mack: We got what we came for. We're out manned and out gunned. We get out now.
Yo-Yo: Jaco, live to fight another day.
Zombie crew has the entrance to the Quinjet guarded.
Yo-Yo: They've taken the quinjet. There are too many of them.
Simmons: Tell me you have another way out of here.
Jaco: I might.
Mack: All right. Go. Go! (They fall back into the airlock and the door closes just in time.) And now what?
Jaco hangs his coat, and opens the gate to the top of the truck.
Simmons (from serious to smiles): I like you.
Jaco: It's because I'm likeable. (HAhahaha...)
In the truck, the crew hears something on the top of the truck.
Deke: More Shrike?
Daisy: I don't think so.
Footsteps walk to the front of the truck. Daisy and May are ready to fight whatever it is, and Fitz steps through the door.
Deke: Bobo! (Goes and hugs Fitz. We'll that's the second time in a couple minutes he's been hugged.)
Bobo: What's happening?
Deke: Oh, I'm so happy to see you. Oh my.... I can't believe it's you.
Fitz: Who are you exactly? (LOL)
Greeting happen all around.
May: How did you guys get here?
Mack: The big guy. (They turn, and Jaco has the bomb.)
Jaco: Tell Sarge I've completed the mission.
Yo-Yo: You don't have to do that for him, Jaco.
Jaco: I'm doing this for me. (Spray paints a portal and activates it.)
Snow: Jaco, no.
Jaco: Don't worry. I'll be a butterfly.
He steps through, then then reaches back and takes the portal device with him. The portal closes. The airlock door opens, Jaco breathes fire, and the spaceship explodes. Farewell Jaco, in the end, you redeemed yourself.
commercial.
Someone pops open a beer and hands it to Daisy. There's a party going on. She sits with Mack.
Daisy: A lot of new faces here.
Mack: Yeah, a lot of strangers, but they're coming together. Helps to keep the fridge stocked.
Daisy: Cheers to that! (Clinks bottle.)
Mack: You know, I thought you'd never come back. When do I get to hear stories about deep space?
Daisy: When we sit down for debrief? Saw an ocean of lava.
Mack: For real?
Daisy: Yeah. Didn't think I could come back to anything more bizarre, but I should have known better.
Mack: The way you've been the last five years. I'm looking forward to that debrief.
Daisy: Me too. (Sees Yo-Yo sitting alone. Gives Mack that look...)
Mack: What?
Daisy: What? You've been staring at her for like, at least a half hour.
Mack: No...
Daisy: Don't be stupid.
On the other side of the room.
Yo-Yo: So tell me. How are you holding up?
May: Should have killed him the moment I saw him. I know it wasn't Coulson. Kept falling for it anyway.
Yo-Yo: We all saw something in Sarge that wasn't there. But at least we had Jaco.
May: How did you get him to turn?
Yo-Yo: I didn't. I just reminded him of what he was fighting for.
May: To Jaco. For seeing Sarge for what he really is. (Yeah, to Jaco.)
Yo-Yo: Salud.
And a Piper/Davis conversation.
Piper: So, right back at it, huh? You narrowly escaped death again?
Davis: Yeah, you could say that.
Piper: I mean, it's sad, honestly. I mean, I took a few days of R&R because I'm still young and I have a life, and I don't have a spawn squirming around at home, but you couldn't wait to get back. Was he just as much of a pain in the ass as his old man? Davis? (Davis is asleep.) You big baby. No wonder. Sleep better here than you do at home.
The FitzSimmons/Deke convo. Deke has some hickeys. HAhahahaha...
Deke: I was seriously, so worried about you. I honestly spent several minutes there, where I actually thought that you were dead.
Fitz: Well, I'm not! I'm very, very much alive.
Deke: Yeah, you look great, by the way. Younger, or something. I haven't really done the math on that, but I will, since it's your brain that I inherited. Oh, and I don't want to gloat, because technically the arguemnt was with the other you, but uh, you being here, you proved that my multiverse theory was right, so... Sorry Bobo, you owe me 20 bucks! No I'm kidding, we didn't bet. Oh, I did want to show you this, though.
Fitz: He keeps calling me Bobo.
Simmons: That's what you wanted to be called. (Fitz give Jemma a strange look, lol. Simmons is enjoying the hell out of the conversation.)
Deke: So this is my company. It's 48,000 square feet. Gotta lay down some roots if you want to grow some fruit, right? Oh, which reminds me. Scotland.
Fitz: Scotland? Yeah, what about it?
Deke: I want to learn everything about my family heritage. We can go, we can stay in a castle, I could buy us a castle. No, I'm serious, I could buy us like, any castle. Oh, there's someone I'd like you to meet.
Deke goes to Snow. She looks pissed.
Deke: Hey! What...
Sarge is being brought in, in handcuffs, under guard.
Sarge: It wasn't personal, Snow.
Snow goes to attack, Deke hold her back.
Deke: Take him away, boys. (To Snow.) Come on. You're among family now.
Daisy (walking up): Deke? (pulls him to the side.) Why isn't she in lock up?
Deke: Why would she be?
Daisy: Cause she's a murderer.
Deke (smirks): Okay, Daisy. Is that what this is really about?
Daisy: What else would it be about?
Deke: It's that old chestnut. Boy meets girl, there's chemistry. Girl's too afraid to act on it. Then that same boy becomes a tech billionaire, and new feeling emerge, namely regret...
Daisy: No, I'm pretty sure it's about the murder. Could someone lock her up, now?
Deke: Hey, hey! (Goes to Snow...)
Mack: All right everyone! A toast. To those of you have served since the very beginning, and to those whose journey has just begun. To the agents we've lost in the line of duty, as well as those who have somehow returned. And to those who stand by us at our best, and at our worst. Because without every single one of you, there is no SHIELD.
May: Here, here.
Yo-Yo: Salud.
Fitz: Cheers.
And, they all take a drink.

Yo-Yo: I always told you not to worry about me.
Mack: I know. And you were right. I'm not asking for forgiveness now. Just, uh... just a chance to earn it. Eventually. All right, uh... Good night.
The door slams shut.
Yo-Yo: We can take it slow.
And we get the kiss.

Epilogue.
May enters Sarge's cell.
Sarge: You? Really? I know you're not much of a talker, so get to it.
May pulls out a pistol, puts three in the chest, and as Sarge looks at her, one in the head.
End program.
You know May, that comment about killing Sarge when you first saw him would sound really bad in a court of law right now...
