We can probably split out the discussion later once filming is complete, but for now... since both films are filming concurrently - may as well discuss them together? Filming began the week of Jan. 23rd. And I believe filming is expected to take about 9 to 11 months (filming 2 films together, it makes sense, plus it also allows for some flexibility of the schedule for actors that are scheduled for other films. Like Black Panther currently filming, or Sebastian Stan who is currently filming "I, Tonya", or Benedict Cumberbatch who's filming "The Current Game"). As far as I'm aware, there is no official press release stating synopsis or cast yet. Some recent news that's Avengers IW/Avengers 4 related: From the set of GotG vol. 2 Feige talks about Marvel's Villain Problem

If Tony does everything in his power to keep the earth safe than he would have contacted Coulson by now.

And, the first thing they show is Iron Man, Spiderman and Star-Lord together.
All of the MCU funneled into one adventure. Should be a good ride.
(I really need the Iron Man meets Rocket and Groot scene...)

If Tony does everything in his power to keep the earth safe than he would have contacted Coulson by now. Not necessarily. Remember he's talking about a movie that happens a year from now. Thor 3 probably has to happen first. From what I remember, the Avengers are beginning to suspect something bigger is in the works because of all the Infinity Stones showing up, but they don't know what it is yet. I suspect something will happen in Ragnarok to reveal what's happening. As for the AoS / Infinity War tie-in, I don't see how the Avengers could not contact SHIELD to help prep against Thanos. It's be interesting to get Coulson back into a movie, but they don't have to. They just need to get someone on the show to explain what's going on to (at least) Coulson. Not a big name like RDJ, but how about someone like Barton? He and Coulson have a history. Even Maria Hill would do. The Avenger's story will be told from the Avenger's point of view. It would be cool to see SHIELD prepare and fight from SHIELD's point of view. You know, gather the Inhumans and develop some tech and strategy, re-oufit their heli-carrier. Put munitions on Lola. Might blow the budget, but we are talking the about one of the biggest movies of 2018 and the entire focus of the MCU so far. And most probably 2019, too. Agents of SHIELD:Infinity War. I think it needs to happen.

I know he doesn't have to. It was sarcasm. Of course AoS won't play any kind of role in this from the movies POV.

Concept art that was shown in that video that has a lot of people talking....particularly about what Thor is holding in his hand:

Small little nitpick about that article they say They seem to have forgotten that he has a part in Thor: Ragnarok (so technically, since that comes out before A:IW, A:IW will be his third time playing DS) .... just me being nitpicky Side note, yay for my 100th post!!!!
