I get that DC and Marvel always steal from each other. Don't you mean...... ahem.... "borrow?" Lesser people that me will claim it's a "rip off". Unfortunately, those people are usually self professed DC fans (or Marvel Trolls). Actually that comparison didn't occur to me, I was just glad to see something entertaining. I think what DC Fanboys and Nolanites will complain about is the humor and "less dark" feel. You know... all the people on IMDb and other sites that said Marvel is for kids and DC is for grownups? I see each moving more towards the middle. DC a little bit lighter and Marvel getting a bit more serious. And I'm good with it. WW and JL have me excited for DC's future. Haha true. And really there's plenty of "borrowed material" fodder. Now if WW ends with WW going to see Steve at the old folks home where he has Alzheimer's then that will be a problem for DC. At least Wonder Woman's alias isn't Peggy (or Martha for that matter). Just wait. We'll probably find out that Steve's mother is named Martha.....

Thanks for posting it (my weekend ended up being very meh and so being online took more of a backseat than usual) Aquaman remains one the few small bits of hope I have for this movie - I liked all of his bits in the trailer (and yes, I know about Mera... doesn't mean I still can't appreciate the wonderfulness of Momoa ) but I'm still cautious as a lot of it still feels like the same old same old when it comes to the DCEU stuff (having a dark film does *not* mean everything has to be drenched in dark colors). There also felt like there was a lot of slo motion used in that trailer, I hope to goodness the actual film is not that way... I can see using it for Flash in action, but beyond that it should be used sparingly (BvS used SloMo WAAAYYYYY too much)

New Trailer Is Out. Awesome. Oh, and sorry nillindeiel , Aquaman is already taken. I was really pulling for you..... :-) Meet Mrs. Aquamann: Mera (Amber Heard), Queen of Atlantis Thanks for posting it (my weekend ended up being very meh and so being online took more of a backseat than usual) Aquaman remains one the few small bits of hope I have for this movie - I liked all of his bits in the trailer (and yes, I know about Mera... doesn't mean I still can't appreciate the wonderfulness of Momoa ) but I'm still cautious as a lot of it still feels like the same old same old when it comes to the DCEU stuff (having a dark film does *not* mean everything has to be drenched in dark colors). There also felt like there was a lot of slo motion used in that trailer, I hope to goodness the actual film is not that way... I can see using it for Flash in action, but beyond that it should be used sparingly (BvS used SloMo WAAAYYYYY too much) I hear what you're saying about the darkness. It seems that everything Batman is devoid of light......... I do like the fact that they've incorporated some humor; may lighten things up a bit. As for Mera, I couldn't resist a little "dig", considering your previous posts ( I was pulling for you, tho)........ Sorry to hear about your weekend. "Meh" sucks. Hope your week is off to a better start.... The Force, you must use, Yoda. Flows within you, it does.

My one "complaint" about the trailer so far - and I think that also true for MoS and BvS - is that there's too much cgi. I know, that sounds kind of ridiculous, given the genre, but I think real set pieces and actual stuntsl go a very long way, even in today's cinema. Sure, Marvel movies use tons of cgi as well, but somehow it doesn't seem as overwhelming to me as what DC is doing a lot of the time. That trailer looks like it's 95% green screen! Not just the enemies, but also most of the scenery looks fake.

I just came across this, but I don't know if that's legit, or what the source it. Couldn't find any official video with that scene. 9gag.com/gag/aG1nD7z

You know, if I were Henry Cavil, I would be kind of pissed about the whole development of the DCEU. First MoS doesn't exactly get a lot of praise, then the next movie is Batman v. Superman (in that order!) and now he's pretty much left out of any Justice League promo material, given the fact that he's officially still dead. I really hope his role in the movie is worth all this.

That's so sad. My thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family. Some of the comments on that article are disgusting. Some people! Not only making jokes out of a tragedy, but using the article to make sexist remarks and such. Shame on those people! ugh!

From Entertainment Weekly: At the risk of sounding like a "typical guy" ... man Gal Gadot is the perfect Wonder Woman. Gorgeous and yet every bit as fierce and believable as Hemsworth, Evans or Momoa.
