That thought has crossed my mind as well. Very possible I would say. But if she can only be linked to her own avatar than there is a problem. RoboFitz took his time to upload her, maybe he tried to fix the problem that her avatar is dead in the framework.

My guess is that Simmons assumed that any woman with Fitz has to be her, so her consciousness is in the limo with Fitz. She may have a rude awakening the first time she looks into a mirror. That's an excellent theory! I really like that one. There are actually people who shipped Ward/Fitz though (I've seen that pairing on fanfic websites). So, Jemma in Ward's body would not only hit A relationship that will never happen because Daisy is moral enough not to date an actual Nazi... and Skimmons notes, but also Fitzward (or whatever they are called) notes. I wonder also if Robbie is in this fake reality. If he is and Daisy can find him, maybe he can help somehow too.

The whole Simmons ended up as Ward does bring up some interesting thoughts. Daisy would be happy with Ward. That sounds horrible, I know. But it Simmons secretly would truely love Daisy. That would be really shocking.

Naturally we'll have to wait and see for certain, but Radcliffe kept making a big deal about how - with the Framework - perception is reality.... so I'm inclined to think that she would have her powers because she'd believe herself to still have her powers? Though it kind of hurts my brain to think about it The problem with "perception is reality" is that it only works for those that are not aware they're in the Framework. As long as their perception aligns with their (altered) memories and personalities, whatever is programmed is real for them, like Mack's daughter being alive or May 'winning' in Bahrain. Daisy hacking in subverted a few steps. like her memories being molded to fit the program. She's in there as herself, fully aware of where she is. Perception for her is the furthest thing from reality. But it's not her physical body in there, it's just her conciousness. Since there was a version of Daisy already in there for her to 'leap' into (complete with pictures of her on the shelves), wether or not her online avatar has any powers is completely dependent on Aida's initial plans for it. The kicker here is that, instead of the 'prepared' Daisy, the real Daisy came in, fully aware of herself and her surroundings. And being self aware might give her the unique option to change her own avatar to suit her every need. Activating her own powers is just the tip of that proverbial iceberg, theoretically she should be able to literally do whatever she wants. Just a side note, since Daisy landed in her own body pretty much automatically (as if by design), I find myself very worried about Jemma and that tombstone they showed just in passing. Was I the only one that felt uneasy about Jemma not having an avatar in there, at least not a living one ? I mean, if the Framework is designed to automatically link subjects to their avatar on the inside, where do you land when you don't have one ?

We don't know there isn't a Jemma avatar. They said they identified both of them in the framework. My guess is either a)faked death, in hiding or b) is someone else currently there.

That would be really shocking. Cue the Skimmons-fanfic, cue the Quantum Leap jokes. They should probably get Scott Bakula or Dean Stockwell to cameo, or at the very least work an "Oh boy..." into the dialogue.

Does Jemma have siblings? If so, perhaps it's a case of mistaken identity? Like maybe grabbing the wrong purse on the way out the door?

Because the gravestone gave the same birthdate as the real Jemma.

Was she maybe killed during Hydra's uprising? Probably because it'll be significant to the story in some way. The bosses said it isn't what it seems, so I'm still going with "faking her death".
