Ep 5 was another fun ride. Loving this show. Oh, and I think it was Hari Seldon (?) that commented on Seth's connections when we brought up Charlize Theron being on the show; didn't Charlize and Seth do a western together a few years ago? Anyways, I'm looking forward to see what they come up with next.....

Was just gonna make a post about the ep, because something's been bothering me. So, if Pria saving the Orville meant that Pria never had a reason to come back in time to collect the ship, then who saved the Orville?

So, if Pria saving the Orville meant that Pria never had a reason to come back in time to collect the ship, then who saved the Orville? I guess they re-wrote the timeline and ended up saving themselves. There's so many theories on time travel (all unproven). How the questions are answered is dependent on the theory believed in.......

So, if Pria saving the Orville meant that Pria never had a reason to come back in time to collect the ship, then who saved the Orville? It's one of those paradoxes. In addition to that, the transporter device Ed put in his drawer should have disappeared along with Pria, but at the moment I've got a feeling it will reappear in a future episode when they really need it. Since we don't have known time travel at this time, writers are free to make up their own rules.
