Today it was the song Stitches. I can't remember his name at the moment. I was at Walmart and there was this Valentine bear that played that song... So it got stuck in my head. Which is fine cause I love the song.

We need to compile that playlist........ Definitely! This whole thing started when you were vacationing in the monolith and we've been pretty inclusive of the story-lines since then, but..... we haven't done even one robot/android/LMD song. Time to change that...... Styxx

I watched (not with my full attention) a youtube video yesterday on Songs you didn't know were covers, except for almost all of them I was more familiar with the original than the cover and there were a few where I wasn't familiar with the original or the cover.

You're welcome! As per usual, lots of catchy music in this Disney movie, but for me "You're welcome" takes the cake. Is there anything The Rock can't do?

Here is a video someone did about a song they got stuck in their head: Even though I love the original song, the one in the link above cracks me up.

I watched (not with my full attention) a youtube video yesterday on Songs you didn't know were covers, except for almost all of them I was more familiar with the original than the cover and there were a few where I wasn't familiar with the original or the cover. Something really funny along those lines happened at a Superbowl Party we had a few years ago, the year Paul McCartney did the half time show. When Sir McCartney started in on ' Live and Let Die', One of our friend's kids, probably around 12 at the time, said grumpily, "Why is he playing a Guns-N-Roses song?". We just cringed. And actually, that just brought to mind another conversation a buddy and I were having over a beer at our local watering hole. The subject of older music came up, and we started talking about Jimi Hendrix. The much, much younger person who was there with us said, "Hendrix was ok. But he was so main-stream." LOL Sigh, how perceptions change as time passes.
