To start off, I'll echo the sentiments of many:
The Inferior (thanks for that bigvanray. I love it) was a complete and total letdown. Well, wait...... I guess, as The Inferior, he actually excelled. :-)
Such a waste of potential and waste of a good actor - damn shame; but..... his lousiness did provide great lines for Coulson. Glad to see that Coulson snarkiness........
Coul-Quake training sim was fun to watch. Never thought we'd get to see them in a hand-to-hand fight. Fun stuff.
Young Philinda was a treat, too. Phunny Phil and PlayMay were a blast. Huge props to the FX guy for how well young May looked....... oh, wait.... Mark Kolpack said that they thought of going that route but after hair and makeup, it wasn't needed. NO CGI on young Philinda, as Kolpack said, "Ming just looks that damn good." Ming-Na has definitely been following the Ponce de Leon travel guide.
Anyways..... Phil was hilarious and stupid when they were young and May was...... Ming (good call Jemma Simmons). It was phunny how over confident Phil was and how May called him out on being a goof. I could watch a full episode (season?) of that.... :-)
Mallory Jansen must be from another dimension.... she's amazing.
I was pretty convinced Davis was wearing a red shirt under his tac gear. Maybe next week?
Although I don't agree that Simmons was OOC as Queen Bee Simmons (sorry terminator22), I DO agree it was great to see FitzSimmons, (especially Simmons) sciencing again. I just wish we'd have gotten a good scene of them talking over each other like in S1 (miss those days). And Simmons' heart-to-heart with the Fitzmiester..... great stuff.
Fitz! - quit F'n around and marry that girl already! Don't pull a Coulson and loose her to a Damndrew..........
*excuse the shouting* I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE 084 WAS !!!!!!!!! I don't care if it's not a macguffin(sp?), or if it's not even important to the story..... you don't mention an 084 on this show and NOT tell us WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!!!
As for Mack's speech (tirade?) to Fitz: Not OOC; and actually it seemed he dialed it back a bit seeing as he was chewing some Turbo butt; and, he wasn't wrong either. His words had merit (as shown when Jemma agreed with him). Two things though: 1. His timing sucked. For a sensitive guy, he sure needs sensitivity training. 2. He obviously wasn't at the SHIELD Academy in S1 (Seeds) when Jemma and Leo had to give the "potentiality speech" to the students. They are already FULLY aware of "the paper thin line between scientist and mad scientist." SHAME ON YOU MACK!!!!
Dadcliffe's lost his mind (and I don't mean in the Maytrix - or do I?). What was he doing in the Maytrix? Cavorting with Agnes? Setting up /controlling the new LMD's? Can't remember who said it in another thread (koos? caseyrook?) but I do agree it's plausible that the Maytrix IS all connected and he can play Sith Lord while he's wearing the headset (seeing as how The Framework is world-wide/internet-wide).
Who was getting his ass beat? The Patriot or The Patribot? If it was IRL Mace, my hat's off to him. He's got courage.
Did I mention how amazing Mallory Jansen is?
I kinda saw the final twist coming. Chloe let a little too much cat out of the bag in her ET interview....... Should make for a helluva Pod Finale next week.
Anyone else think Philbot had a creepy, hungry look in his eye when he unwrapped Maybot?
Speaking of next week: Yo-Yo's back. Can't wait to see what she thinks of Turtlebot.
Piper will be back as well (I know she started to get quite a following). If Piper's back..... Davis better check his laundry for a red shirt. :-)
I posted a different thread with a teaser poster for next week. I'll repeat what I said in that thread: "Do. Not. Like. This." Anyone want to pre-register for the revolt?..... just in case. :-)
Next ep was written AND directed by Jed Whedon (so we know who to contact if he hurts the Wonder Twins). Today on Chloe's Instagram, she said that next week's ep is her all-time favorite (but she could be brown nosing). She tends to over-hype, but as it's a Pod finale, it'll probably be pretty damn good.
To finish on a bit of a serious note..... I haven't posted anything about this before, but it's been on my mind:
I was glad to see Fitz address, and worry about, how Melinda will be when she comes out of the Maytrix. What has it done to her mind? She was involuntarily placed in an alternate reality and given new memories. Will she even remember she had pheelings for Coulson? Will she still be stoic? Will she still be May? Will she still be alive? Will she kick Maybot's ass? Okay, maybe not a completely serious note. :-)
Make your Spring Break plans now, kiddos. After Ep 15, the show won't be back until April. :-(

Fitz really needs the emotional support. Jemma is a great girlfriend to him. But of course I love Queen Simmons.
