Fun commercial. As far as Spiderman goes, the biggest problem with the franchise is they keep rebooting every 2-3 movies. In the comics (including the newspaper comic strip), Peter Parker didn't remain an eternal teenager, he grew up and had an adult life. But in the movie franchise as soon as the actor can't pass as a teen (in the opinion of the producer anyway), they get someone new and start over.

One minor correction: The problem with the SpiderMan movies is that they weren't MCU products.............

To be fair, though, in the original trilogy they had Peter graduate high school half way through the first movie and the second reboot had much more to do with a general lack of success of the Andrew Garfield movies than with the actor not being able to pass as a teen. Considering how young Tom is, I think he would be able to play teenage Peter Parker for a while, but I can just as well imagine him playing an adult version eventually.
