I grew up watching Poirot on PBS with my mom (she loves Agatha Christie's mysteries)... is Branagh's mustache over the top/a bit silly? Sure. But I kind of think it works

Saw it last night, we really really liked it. I had never read the book so I had no idea 'who did it', so I was surprised by the various twists and turns. My mom, who has read the book (many times), knew how it would play out (and says the movie was pretty faithful to the book) and she also loved it.

Liked majority of the cast, Johnny Depp though... I don't know if it was a character choice or if it's just how he is now, but his mumbling was often hard to understand.

I would really like to see more Branagh Poirot movies. I hope this does well enough to do another film.
