Anyone see it? Like it? Dislike it?

I saw it and liked it (I always like these movies) but there were so many different plot threads going on I'll probably have to watch two more times to really get the complete picture.

There were things I liked:

The twist with Carina being Barbossa's daughter.

CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. I realized how insufferable he had grown to be when, Mr. Gibbs, arguably the one guy who Jack could count on for loyalty, took part in the mutiny that kicked Jack off his own ship with Henry and Carina. In the past movies, Gibbs would've been at Jack's side there, but nope, Gibbs was like, "Dude. I've had it. I'm out. No actually, *you're out*. Get off this ship."

Haven't seen it yet and probably won't see it in the theater. I still kind of enjoy the Pirate movies, but they just haven't been 'must see in theater' viewing for me. Will probably wait for home release.

Yes, well they did have to ship a certain American actor home so he could go to rehab...and that paused filming for 6 months.
