Watched the pilot. Started with a few lines from Skye. Introductions to her, Ward, May and fresh from Hogwarts: Fitzsimmons. And of course Coulson. Only died for 8 or 40 seconds. The light bulb is out line is a classic. Coulson sedating Ward was funny. And I laughed really hard at Fitz's explanation of the footage: Well, the man is angry at the other man. Skye must have been thinking: this is big bad organisation wtih the best and brightest and billions of dollars to spend: SHIELD? What professional organisation is this? Of course she is the girl who shows us what Shield looks like to a newcomer and what we are suppose to think.
Ward is trying too hard not to get into the team. Suspecious. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a bad guy. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Have to say, keeps being one of my fav eps. Love the team building action. Loved the Ward/Fitzsimmons aka Operations versus Science department academy clash. Will get more of that fun in Seeds. Really loved May in this ep. No talk, but action. And Fitzsimmons are on their second mission. Also, a furious Fury, always fun. |

So I just got a text and I have a birthday party to attend on Sunday. I will be back but not until 6. If you all want, you can go ahead and do 4-6 and I'll pick back up with you on Tues, or if 6-8 isn't too late for you, we can start then. Preferences?

I'll be spending next weekend with some family I like and trying to avoid any remotely controversial conversations with others that I spend the rest of the year avoiding
