I have watched many, many, many, hours of TV. There are episodes of every show that i've ever watched that I can go back to anytime of year on any occasion. There are also episodes that I love but only watch once a year (or once very few years) for one reason or another.
What are your favorite episodes of TV ever? Or episodes that are memorable and emotional for all the right reasons? Mine are:
1. House: S6E1 'Broken'
-Lin Manuel Miranda Guest stars! Also, just a great analogy to 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'
2. M*A*S*H: S4E1 'Welcome To Korea'
-Bye, Bye, Trapper! Hello BJ (Whom i like better) Also, just a memorable and emotional reminder that 'War is Hell'
3. Star Trek: The Next Generation: S3E4 'Who Watches The Watchers'
-Have no idea why
4. Star Trek: The Next Generation: S6E21 'Frame of Mind'
-Some say Jonathon Frakes is a better director than actor, this episode tells me they're wrong. Also, I can watch this every day and still not know what the hell is going on.
5. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: S1E11 'The Magical Place'
-Would I be me if this wasn't included?
6. Lie To Me: S3E9 'Funhouse'
-Have no idea why.
7. The West Wing: S4E23 'Twenty Five'
-Is it a good episode? I don't know because i'm always distracted by John Goodman AND Clark Gregg being in the same episode!
8. Quantum Leap: S3E22 'Shock Theater'
-I don't know if it's Scott Bakula's acting, the story, or the relationship between Sam and Al.
9. Avatar: The Last Airbender: S2E15 'The Tales of Ba Sing Se'
-Adult-level storytelling that's emotional-rare for a kids cartoon these days.
10. Mork and Mindy: S3E14 'Mork Meets Robin Williams'
-I still can't watch this episode.
11. Roseanne: S5E14 'Crime and Punishment'
-Dan and Jackie's relationship is the best of the whole series, even better than Dan and Roseanne's in my opinion.
12. Star Trek: Enterprise: S4E3 'Home'
-I've heard veterans on various podcasts say that this episode is one of the best depictions of what it's like coming home from war and that says a lot to me.
13. The X-Files: S5E19 'Folie a Deux'
-Don't know why
14. NCIS: S5E7 'Reqiuem'
-One of the best episodes of TV ever.
15. NCIS: New Orleans: S2E1 'Sic Semper Tyranus'
-I can't pinpoint what it is, I can watch this over and over.
