Really, serious spoilers follow.
When does the next season start?
Jeez, don't even know where to start. Agent Phil Coulson, Ghostrider. Agents in Space. Strangely familiar portals to other dimensions. Jemma's line, "I know, I just wanted to do that."
What did Coulson agree to? He's keeping it a secret like his death and ressurection? Can't wait for that reveal. Who were the guys who entered the diner? They can't be the Men In Black, 'cause SHIELD *is* the Men In Black.
And the epilog. Events are already routine for Coulson. Are we going to see Agents of Shield: Infinity War? If Inhumans airs before Agents of Shield this fall, then AoS will start after the events of Ragnarok. I assume it's during Ragnarok that Thanos become a known problem. I wonder if we'll finally get some sort of crossover between the MCU and AoS.
Odd that we didn't see Vijay. Hard to think of a story line where they can couple him with the Agents in Space. Sorry not to see Ward and Tripp a last time. Glad Mack is back and not stupid. Ophelia's death was... satisfying. Daisy's speech to Fitz was oddly moving. (In a good way. All for one and one for all, sorta thing.) It was nice to see the team together, even if they do get kidnapped.
I think the season slowed a little during the second arc, but over all I think it's been the best so far. The villain of the entire season was the Darkhold, and bringing Ghostrider back into the story tied the entire season together. Really looking forward to Season 5...

I about had a heart attack when Talbot was shot. I'm glad he wasn't killed. I'm glad Coulson's couples counseling worked and that Fitz and "Jemma" were able to trick Aida. I loved Phil's line "It's SHIELD, stuff happens." May saying she never wanted a talk was good for a laugh too. Tears for Hope and Radcliffe. Yay Mack and Yoyo!
Questions I have 1. Where is the head in the jar? Is it still active, or did it power down when The Darkhold departed? 2. What were AC and GR talking about? Is Coulson going to hell? 3. Where the heck is Phil and is the team with him? 4. How long until November?

We've always been left with enough clues to sort of piece together an expectation for the next season.
But that ending honestly felt like the writers were sitting there at a table hopped up on caffeine at 7 in the morning and one of them was like, "Okay, we might get a season 5, we might not. What can we do that is kind of a cliffhanger but also kind of not?"
And then another was like, "I know! We can make it like the end of the British show, 'Saphire and Steel' and have the last thing we see be Coulson waking up in space!"
And then they were all like, "That is a wonderful idea! Brilliant!"

I was disappointed in the finale. Some of my thoughts:
1. Aida didn't stand a chance against Ghost Rider. Where were the other powers that she should have had? Fitz experimented on 24 inhumans. She only had the 3 powers we saw last week, and she couldn't do squat to Ghost Rider. That battle was pathetic. Aida deserved much better!
2. How did Fitz get the time or resources to build a Jemma LMD? I'm pretty sure the Zephyr doesn't have an LMD workbench. Sorry, but that is sloppy writing!
3. What happened to The Superior? No one found his head.
4. Daisy gave a good speech. She is stepping into the Director's role. Which is good because Coulson's deal with Ghost Rider will probably result in his death.

Don't forget the last teaser in space (with the cross and the explosion). It didn't actually happen until 7 episodes later.

I didn't but somehow I feel like this one was somehow more straightforward than that one. Although, that could be because I was perpetually unhappy with the latter half of season three and I don't remember it as well.
