Really, my only thought right now is "what the heck just happened?!?!" AWESOME ep, but no idea what that ending was about.

So now it's "Agents of Space"? That ending was crazy....even by my standards.

Am I the only one that thinks that last scene/stinger with Coulson in space was shot *after* they found out they had season 5 confirmed? It's a small enough scene maybe they could do that?
MODOK is still in his jar somewhere right?
I don't think the stinger means season 5 is in space really. But given where the MCU will go in the next few films it wouldn't be a shock. Captain Marvel etc. Given how Ghost Rider can essentially sling-ring himself anywhere, he could easily have ported Coulson to space for some reason that will be short-lived. I wonder if Coulson is actually on his way to Attilan or something?
Seems likely to me that the second-to-last scene will end up being Coulson and team getting spared any sort of jail time. i.e. Fury was behind getting them extricated or some sort of cover up.

Apparently, they changed nothing about the episode after a confirmation of season five. Meaning, in an alternate reality I am *still* screaming into a pillow because the show just had to end with Coulson waking up alone in space. I'm just happy to be living in *this* finale even though we have to suffer through an extended hiatus.

When he was on the phone with Talbot Coulson said, "I have a cybernetic hand, I've been to another planet. These things are normal for SHIELD agents." I call that foreshadowing.
