They're doing a big changeup on us. The writers don't seem to be slowing down any. I smell a season 6 already.

Am I the only one that thinks that last scene/stinger with Coulson in space was shot *after* they found out they had season 5 confirmed? It's a small enough scene maybe they could do that?

I don't think the stinger means season 5 is in space really. But given where the MCU will go in the next few films it wouldn't be a shock. Captain Marvel etc. Given how Ghost Rider can essentially sling-ring himself anywhere, he could easily have ported Coulson to space for some reason that will be short-lived. I wonder if Coulson is actually on his way to Attilan or something?

Seems likely to me that the second-to-last scene will end up being Coulson and team getting spared any sort of jail time. i.e. Fury was behind getting them extricated or some sort of cover up.

And the worst part is it wasn't even *that* far out of left field.

When he was on the phone with Talbot Coulson said, "I have a cybernetic hand, I've been to another planet. These things are normal for SHIELD agents."
