It still amazed me how close they (and I suppose other TV shows as well) cut it with the deadlines. The episode airs next week; what if the FX team catches the flu? Or a virus eats the harddrives or whatever. That's a crazy schedule!

As I've understood it these past few years, VFX has to be finished by COB Friday so the ep can finish post production in time for airing. Post production usually done late Sunday or Early Monday. Yeah, that's pretty freakin crazy. I remember Jed saying at a CC panel that finales always run down to the wire because they're usually more involved yet only have normal production time.
