You're all wrong, the character's name is The Ginger Ninja! The only character worthy of the title ninja on the show is May. True, but Mack nicknamed her/them the Ginger Ninjas, so.......

By the way, I loved how the Superior dropped the "Designed Only for Killing" line. I wonder if they'll actually try to have some version of MODOK.

Just finished re=watching 4x21 in prep for new season, and had a thought... Hey, you fan fiction writers out there (hint hint, caseyrook AKA Mechelle , ayanami , and others) Fitz and Aida are on the beach, and Aida makes him remember that they met [in the Framework] on the first day of class at the academy...seems like a fine topic for a story to me

Not really sure about what you mean by 'those kinds of fics'. I was just thinking a really young, even more bashful and bumbling Fitz, simultaneously meeting the other youngest recruit, Jemma, and Aida, on the same day. We already know he and Jemma had issues at first. Seems like a good opportunity for a story. Maybe even throw Milton (cauliflower head? broccoli head?--can't remember) into the mix.

I don't do fics where the villain of the arc is in a relationship with a member of the team. It's a moral sticking point with me. Also, in all honesty, I've yet to successfully write an AoS fic without Coulson. Call me biased.

Alastair Fitz's son isn't bashful, nor bumbling and I'm pretty sure he never met Jemma, either. Or else he would have known her on the show.

Even if only the fictional reality of the framework?

Even if only the fictional reality of the framework? It'a a personal moral sticking point. Fitz didn't have the knowledge that he was in the FW. Therefore, I don't feel like he could consent to anything regarding AIDA. But this all just an enlongated way of saying I don't think I could get in the mind-set to write that fic. I am NOT saying I wouldn't read it. It sounds like an interesting read. I just won't be the one to write it.

Maybe there was a line I don't remember that implied it, but in the real world Fitz and Simmons were only friends and didn't have a relationship until recently, so if AIDA was stepping into that role there's no reason to believe Fitz and Ophelia had a romantic relationship as recruits. If she was trying to simulate a real romance, she wouldn't have turned things romantic until the real Fitz became a part of the Maytrix and settled for the Jester until then.
