You guys have been talking about how good the SFX are on this show, and I could not agree more. I think 4x20 topped it all. I too loved the 'ripple' through the steel mill. Yet I have been meaning to make this post ever since the last episode, concerning the writers.
We, the end users, have the rest of time itself to analyze, re-analyze, over-analyze, and generally pick every tiny thing apart. It is so easy to be a Monday-morning quarterback. Those writers live in a constant crunch to create, refine, and finalize every script, as well as keeping continuity and the story itself coordinated.
And this group just does an overall exceptional job. Talk about a pressure-cooker of a work environment! They just deserve so much credit, even though they (very rarely) drop the ball sometimes, they pick it right back up and score a touchdown. So hats off to them!

When I started visiting that other site I was surprised by the number of people bad mouthing the writers (AoS fans are not even close to being the worst.) Writers create a product that we enjoy on a weekly basis. Yes, sometimes they write something that doesn't work, but it's not like they are trying to ruin the show. And, if a show goes on long enough, fans are going to be able say "but that's not what they said about icers in season 2." If a fan still cares enough to nitpick then the writers are doing something right. AoS writers are definitely doing something right.
