I didn't make the Live Chat, but if I had, this would have been my input:

First, I like how Clark is back to doing the “previously on” and “we’ll be back in a moment” bit now that the show is returning to the real world.

Zephyr crew is afraid to land, and apparently not because of Ivanov. They won’t answer Talbot’s calls and Elena said something like “you’ve seen what they’ve been saying in the news, it’s a wonder they haven’t shot us out of the sky.” ……………………….
I sure would like to know what the news has been saying. Where’s that WHIH News crawler when we need it?

The SHIELD Logo to Hydra Logo animation as they switched from real world to framework was not only a really cool visual, but a cool segue as well. Nice touch production team.

Fitz: “We built a machine in the other world which can transfer a human consciousness into an organic body.”
Okay…… a lot of suspension of disbelief required here……………… but………….. when the hell did Aida/Ophelia get a “human consciousness”? I can live with the Darkhold designed human body 3D printer (pretty cool, actually 😊) but I do have issues with Ophelia having a true human consciousness………

Gotta say…. Ian De Caestecker continues to impress. They guy’s killin it (and makes it look easy).

“How does the existence of an alternate reality come up in casual conversation?” Obviously Daiskye (like what I did there, ayanami?) and Coulson have never visited this board. 😊

Did I mention how good Ian De Caestecker is?

Playing further on Mack’s “they did not just go and use the bible against me” line:
The Egyptians showed up just as the Israelites were crossing……..

Awesome VFX in the steel mill. This show sets the broadcast bar.

I wonder how much Coulson enjoyed cutting off Aida 2.0’s head…..

Oh, and….. Elizabeth Henstridge is pretty damn awesome, too

Ophelia has a nice new back door (keep it out of the gutter, guys)

I agree-- Iain is just crushing it this season. I really, REALLY hope he's rescued in the next two episodes and doesn't become the "big bad" for the first part of S5. As far as Coulson enjoying ending Aida 2.0... I loved the "At least [Mack] had a shotgun axe line!

I have a feeling that no matter how long this show continues to run we'll keep seeing that particular tool appear.

I totally agree with you about the VFX! This show sets the bar extremely high and continues to consistently deliver all kinds of awesome visual treats! I'm always amazed at how they manage to do that on a weekly basis, with so little time to plan and create those VFX compared to making a movie.

I wonder if Ophelia's given herself Inhuman powers or if that was another device she had created courtesy of the Darkhold. I lean toward Ophelia having Inhuman powers, and I also think it would be interesting if she can also teleport between Framework and the real world at will.

I know I'm probably completely alone in this, but I utterly despise that thing and cringe every time it's so much as mentioned. Imo it's one of the most embarrassing things on the show since the awkward early S1 humour.

And that's how we can know how much the show means to them. If it really was just another gig, I doubt they'd pour so much into it. They're awesome peeps! And it's also awesome of them to give those of us on the outside as much of an inside look as they are able.

Considering it's the ultra-secret SHIELD/Marvel/ABC/Disney..... I'm sometimes surprised we get the peeks behind the curtain that we DO get.

Having had a bit of lack of time lately. But back to put my thoughts of this episode in this thread.

First thought of this episode is that I wanted to see how Iain would do an evil Fitz. Well, got what I wished for. And his scene with Simmons showed us exactly why when he put his gun on her head. That was freaking fantastic.

Saw many people being confused with AIDA's teleporting power. It was enlightening to me. For episodes I have been wondering why Hydra hunts on Inhumans. From Hydra's pov I can understand. The are a great source of power. But it is meaningless for Madam Hydra. She can always change programming to get what she wants. Power in the framework is irrelevant for her. So, why did she hunt them and let Fitz test them? To gain powers for herself seems to be the answer. Looking forward what other powers she has gained.

Mack's decision is something I would have chosen for as well, if I were him.

I used to be a huge Philanda fan. But since Andrew showed up that has lessened over time. I should be so excited for the Phil/May developments. But I not that much anymore. Still, great moments and seeing May getting through the portal from Coulson hopeful eyes was the best way to show it.

I wonder if the evilFitz is taking over goodFitz over again under Ophelia's influence. I think Fitz is forced to make a decision between her and Simmons in the final episode and has to take out Ophilia to save Simmons. Would be a great ending of this arc. Since Ghost Rider shows up, I'm looking to his stare on Ophelia. But Fitz should be the one to stop her.
Maybe, when S5 gets the green light, it would be even more interesting to make Fitz evil in this reality as well. I wondered how Fitz got the knowledge to build that device. I think AIDA programmed it straight into his mind and making it like he had studied it for a while. I do think the darkhold is the endgame and not AIDA. Maybe this was all set up such that Fitz would be the big bad with the right knowledge, Hydra leadership skills, genius and DArkhold influence for the next season.

Trip was funny. Laughed hard.

Forgot about Radcliffe. Very good moments for him. Still hope to see more of him.
