As much as I love Phillinda, I can't help but feel like the writers are spending too much screen time on screen feeding the Phillinda shippers.

Sometimes it feels like they're shouting, "Hey, guys, look here's a perfectly GIFable scene!"

I didn't start to think this until I recently rewatched 'Deals With Our Devils'.

This doesn't mean I don't enjoy these scenes though.

They also should have had feeding tubes like May did initially. No feeding tubes, no IV in their arms. Probably best not to think of these things, or at least stop thinking about them before you get to the end of the process.

I thought of this as soon as we saw Coulson wake up.

I'm putting it into my own headcanon that, since the FW was created with the help of the Darkhold, it can take complete control of your 'entire' brain and body and thus can keep you breathing and your heart pumping but can stop ALL body functions, including your digestive system, endocrine system, immune system, nervous system, etc.

I have to have this in my headcanon or else my mind will fixate on what the hell happened when they had to, um, relieve themselves, because NO, my brain will not accept 'It's just a TV show' for an answer.
