Aida/Ophelia seems obsessed with Fitz. I hope he gets to be the one to take her out since she compromised his morals.
Does anyone think we might see his mom before season end?

Aida/Ophelia seems obsessed with Fitz. I hope he gets to be the one to take her out since she compromised his morals. Does anyone think we might see his mom before season end? She's certainly obsessed with Fitz because he was the only one in the group to initially show her any compassion. I do hope he is the one to take her out. I was really hoping he'd get to have a showdown with dear ol' Dad, but alas that seems unlikely at this point unless he changes his mind and decides to find him in the real world. I'd love it if we get to meet his Mum though! |

I think I went into emotional shock for a solid minute this episode. It felt exactly like that 20 second period when Coulson's hand was chopped off at the end of season two and yep, it was when COULSON GOT SHOT AND WAS LEGIT DYING.
Forget the FitzSimmons scenes or the Mack and hope scenes or even the Phillinda scenes. That part sent me nearly into a panic attack and guys, I think my emotional attachment to Coulson's well-being is a bit too strong... |

I'd love it if we get to meet his Mum though! Did the team treat her that horribly though? Coulson and May didn't even know she was an android for weeks. Daisy wasn't even around. Mack and Mace weren't even around her until she came on base (I actually forgot if Mack was around AIDA at all before she went all supervillainy). If anyone treated her horribly it was Radcliffe. Though you are absolutely right by pointing out that Fitz showed AIDA compassion after the assault on the base. |

In all honesty, I expect he won't be able to kill Aida in cold blood, but I do hope he lets her know he is angry with her. I still hope he gets to be the one to take her out (though it will likely be in defense of Jemma or another teammate), so as to give him at least some closure.
It's interesting that both of them now have the "I killed someone" regrets. Though for Simmons, it was out of self preservance as Alistair was trying to kill her.

Getting back to the real world for a moment, I want to know why YoYo won't talk to Talbot. Hasn't Talbot proven himself a friend to Shield? He could have cleared them to land somewhere safe. He also could send troops to help them deal with Aida. Instead they are alone, freezing and about to be shot down. WTF!? YoYo should have called Talbot RIGHT AWAY and told him what happened at the base.

Ophelia is now the problem, and yes Fitz helped create her too, though he was brainwashed at the time. Mace definitely would have talked to Talbot, Coulson, May, or Simmons probably would have. However, Yo-Yo hasn't been in charge before and doesn't know who she can trust. |

I'll be spending next weekend with some family I like and trying to avoid any remotely controversial conversations with others that I spend the rest of the year avoiding
