Via TVInsider Why Are We So Into Superheroes? History's 'Superheroes Decoded' Goes Behind the Capes (VIDEO) Damian Holbrook April 28, 2017 1:00 pm Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is among the notables weighing in on superheroes in History's new documentary special Whether you're about the capes, the Adamantium claws or the muscle-hugging bodysuits, superheroes are so it right now with the masses that even the History Channel is getting in on the action. This weekend, the cable network is unleashing Superheroes Decoded, its two-part documentary special looking at all things comic book. Premiering Sunday night and concluding on Monday—airing at 9/8c on both nights—the special's first installment explores the origins of Captain America, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and a whole slew of All-American icons, while Part 2 casts an eye on their edgier, more "outlaw" ilk like the X-Men, Luke Cage and Iron Man. Noted documentarian Morgan Spurlock, who directed the 2011 nerd-culture classic Comic Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope, is one of the producers of Superheroes Decoded, and he's lined up a buffet of experts to explain why we're so into superheroes (it really is all about the cape!). Among those weighing-in are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Clark Gregg, Game Of Thrones author George R. R. Martin, Iron Man director Jon Favreau, DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns and Marvel Comics pioneer Stan Lee, all of whom pop-up in this trailer that has us wondering which heroes would make our Top 3. I'm watching this now.
Had to laugh because we didn't see CG at all during the DC portion of the first episode.
Then when we saw him again, they spelled Coulson with an 'E'.
At least CG had two 'G's
