With that in mind, Queen's theme for Highlander is still really good

As are all the songs by The Who for the CSI shows, at least before NY tried to remix theirs. And the FireFly theme of course.

One question, are we limiting it to theme songs with lyrics or is it open to instrumental?

Let's see, Buffy and Highlander already got posted...what else did I grow up with....

Giving the new MacGyver series a shot this year made me really really REALLY miss the theme song of the original (the new one starts out with the same opening notes, but then goes in a really weird direction, it's so unsatisfying) - of course there's a lot left to be desired in regards to the remake as it is... give me the original MacGyver anyday.

My brother pointed out that the theme song for Barnaby Jones was a reflection of Barnaby himself. It has a soft and gentle flute part with a fast paced part underneath. Behind Barnaby's laid back exterior was a very sharp and quick mind.

I think its a great idea that you have to try and limit our daily posts on any given thread, so others have a chance to see what we shared, before they get buried in the dust. This is another show I watched religiously. Although it is quite dated these days, I was a newlywed at the time, and it along with The Wonder Years, and Tool Time, all on the same night, if I remember correctly, pretty much defined my early marriage! LOL

Jemma Simmons: I will say that is one thing that Agatha All Along got right. They did a phenomenal job of planting hints throughout but it not really being obvious until the end. Reminded me of WandaVision that way. Nov 10, 2024 23:03:26 GMT
