How amazing that you mentioned, that, polgara!!! when I went to Austria in 2007, My very same friends that came to visit me in fall of 2007, when I visited them at Christmas 2007, took me to a tiny little restaurant in a tiny little town tucked away in the Alps. It was barely more than a converted house, not a big place at all! but lo and behold, I grew up on the Gulf Coast, and I don't believe I have ever had a better seafood dinner than I did that night. Giant shrimp tucked inside a coconut shell.. and guess who was the band that claimed it was their favorite restaurant ever! YEP, The Scorpions!!! Their pic's were all over the wall!

I don't consider myself a real packrat, but I have a little bundle of ticket stubs stashed in my desk, so I took a little look. As it turns out, tomorrow makes exactly 29 years ago I saw the Scorpions in concert - as part of the Monsters of Rock tour. On a side note, I'd seen VanHagar (Van Halen) on the 5150 tour before they organized the Monsters of Rock. I was used to groups saying how crazy the crowds were and figured they said that in pretty much every city, until the MoR tour was announced and Hagar said they'd picked Chicago to kick off the tour because we were the craziest.

I've been thinking about doing a "One Hit Wonders" thread and in light of polgara's "Falco", ayanami's "Nena" and beren44's "Concrete Blonde"........ I think it's time. BTW: thanks to all three for the memories. Since there's been a nod to Germany on this thread, lately: Played with UFO, played around with The Scorpions and was in a few different iterations of a "Schenker" group or two....... A rock guitarist virtuoso:

I shared the Agent Coulson song with my sister and she came across this after she listened to it. If you are a TNG fan you may remember this.
