Don't know if this counts as "off the wall stuff", but this is actually one of my favourite bands. Aside from their solo concerts, they also perform on a medieval market close to where I live every year and I can't even tell you how many times I've already seen them. They do mostly German songs, but also instrumental ones, as well as English or the occasional Frensh one. Saltatio Mortis - Der Letzte Spielmann (The Last Minstrel) (It's one of their signature songs.) Pirate's Life Choix Des Dames (the song starts at about 0:55 min) Der Spielmannsschwur (The Minstrel Oath) This one is always the last "official" song they play on their concerts, before the encore. Fun fact, I was actually at this performance and it was raining fricking cats and dogs! They even had to interrupt for a bit, to save the equipment. Probably the most epic concert of my life! I'd say it counts. Looks like it'd be a helluva good time. Yeah, it absolutely is. There are lots of bands that play at the market, but Saltatio Mortis is always the biggest act and they just rock!

One of my all time favorite off the wall singers is Ray Stevens. Here are two of his best.

Seeing the Rawhide theme in the TV thread reminded me that the actor who played Pete did this.

This was kind of me at work yesterday. I used to have a t-shirt that said, "Do not disturb. I'm disturbed enough already."

Just ran into this one on youtube when it showed up on the right side while I was looking for one of the orchestral songs. I think Mary Jane got into some Cosplay...
Not sure how the Japanese feel, but I thought it was amusingly appropriate for this thread.

Not sure how the Japanese feel, but I thought it was amusingly appropriate for this thread. Our old band, back in the early 80s, used to cover this song (The Vapor's version). It was one of the most fun songs to do on our whole play list! Love it

This is probably more comedy than music, but it's def off the wall. Garfunkel and Oates:
