In episode 15, we got this piece of dialogue between the LMD versions of May and Coulson:
RoboMay: "Are you saying we'll eventually be able to be together?" RoboCoulson: "I'm saying that in the framework, we already are."
Going by all the threads I've read here over the hiatus, we've all pretty much seem to have taken this statement at face value; and why not? The framework was supposed to be a better world, after all. Now, however, we've seen the truth, and that is that in the matrix Coulson and May don't even know each other! So, what the hell? Did RoboCoulson lie, was he just trying to recruit RoboMay to his cause or did he actually believe that he was telling the truth, based on what Radcliffe might have told him/programmed him to believe?

Outside of Aida, I don't think the LMDs know what's happening within the Framework, I don't think he knowingly lied... so my guess is LMD!Coulson was just repeating what he'd been told/programmed by Radcliffe or Aida

Good catch, I'm surprised I hadn't caught onto the fact that Coulson and May aren't together in the FW. I guess it was just the gap between the last two episodes that helped me forget that conversation.
Although, just because we didn't see them together, it doesn't necessarily mean they can't be together. We only saw May and Coulson at work (and leaving work in Coulson's case). May acted like Coulson had just been a rando teacher reporting a subversive, but as with all things about May, that could have been an act.
Then again, if I'm just here typing up a nonsense theory, Coulson may not be so quick to team up with 'Daisy' if he has a relationship with HYDRA Agent May.

I was one of those that brought up that point a couple of days ago. We still haven't seen Coulson OR May in their home environment yet, though. THAT would be a trip to see Professor Coulson get home just in time to have dinner on the table for B*tch May!

Idk, going by how invasive Hyrda seems to be with its agents ("co-habitation permit"!) I'm pretty sure they know who May is together with, if anybody. In that case, they wouldn't have talked about Coulson as "some teacher".

I had high hopes after that but thinking I really need to lower my expectations.
