In anticipation of the next episode, and in an effort to further increase our line-up of "favourite character moments" threads, here are some of my favourite scenes of Ward so far: - Ward and Skye playing Battleship and him loosing ("You sank my battleship"; "Two out of three!") - Ward infiltrating that building in Belarus in his Clark Kent get-up (those glasses!) instead of Akela Amadore and he gets the instruction to seduce one of the guards. (" Help!") - Ward and Coulson both trying to get the holo table to work - Ward training Skye in The Asset and telling her about his brother ("That was my moment. You asked.") - Ward and Fitz working together in The Hub
- Fitz confronting Ward in his cell in Making Friends and Influencing People. Probably his only moment during that period where he showed genuine concern, both for Fitz and for Skye and the team without playing games or having some sort of agenda. - Standing up for Skye against both Victoria Hand and May while Coulson had been kidnapped Just going by the latest trailer, "Is that a thing we do now" is a really strong candidate for this list. Cracks me up every time! Also, inb4 anyone says "The moment Coulson caved in his chest"!

I think that banning something would be more of a Real Shield thing. I can just hear Grumpy McGrumpyface (AKA Gonzรกlez) saying we won't talk about that subject.

I agree with all your S1 moments (OMG, Super spy is ticklish - Ha) Only kinda sorta agree with your S2 moment. I agree he may have been sincere, but only because I DO actually believe he jettisoned the escape pod from (RIP) The Bus so he didn't have to kill them. Whether it was to, as he said, give them a chance to survive or it was just so he didn't have to face the guilt of actually looking them in the eye as he killed them would make the difference in how sincere he was. Obviously lost some of that love in S3 when he needed info from FitzSimmons, but a lot of water had passed under the bridge by then.........

Yeah, that was the only post-S1 moment I could bring myself to include. Post Turn, Turn, Turn, even. I actually think that Ward wanted to give Fitz and Simmons some chance by dropping the pod into the ocean, no matter how small. The only other alternatives would have been to turn against Garret (we know he wasn't willing/able to do that) or force the door to the pod open/let the other Hydra guys open it, which would have been a 100% death sentence. At least this way, there was a tiny chance left. Plus, the underwater scene in the pod starts with Simmons wondering why the pod sank in the first place; something she clearly hadn't anticipated. I don't see why Ward should have expected it to sink, either.

Its no secret that I hate Ward so much. Cold-bloodily killing that wonderful dog Buddy, who helped keep him alive when he was nothing but chump-change, dumping FitzSimmons into the ocean because he didn't even have enough spine to off them, burning down his parents house, *twice*; sucking the life-blood out of Stephanie Malik, [wtf--she was TOTALLY innocent], and my personal hate-favorite, HE KILLED ROSALIND!!! And she had a really cool car...

as much as I detest him, The writers are gonna have a hard time topping themselves, with his line "Is that a thing we do now?" WAY up on top of the list of fav ward moments.
