I enjoyed the wrap up and plenty of Easter eggs in the big battle. I liked the medium-sized twist.
My one nit-pick is that Marvel did what they usually do with these series where the ending seems to be more about planting seeds for future projects than about wrapping up the film/season. Minor complaint and I get why, but I'd have rather seen something much more about wrapping up this story and/or adding some twists specific to this season.
But I'm going to watch all the future stuff anyway - so I don't need the teasers or unanswered questions that come back in future seasons/shows.

I know there was a lot of debate about how long Rhodey was a Skrull, and it looks like we have that answer. Kind of depressing to find out how much he missed out on. I also didn't think we'd see Quake in this, but heard rumours we might so was holding out a little hope. Sadly, it seems they don't have any intention of using any of those characters again.

It does add a layer or two to the Armor Wars story. I would also never say never on your last point. Though yeah, nobody should be holding their breath at this point I guess.

This one is getting a lot of darts thrown at it apparently. Traded off some plausibility for some visuals? Meh. I prefer to enjoy my Marvel than nit-pick it. To each their own I guess.

My silly take-away is the impact Secret Invasion has on everything regarding Agents of SHIELD now being retconned. I mean Skrulls were involved in EVERYTHING and no Harvesting of Quake or ANY of the other Inhumans; as well as Kree blowback from having a dead Kree alien's DNA and the Skrulls NOT aware of that??!! I've got some threads I need to rant on!!

I've got some threads I need to rant on!! That's a very good point of course. I think I can handle there not being any AoS DNA with the rest (no Daredevil either, no Spider-Man even) but the idea that no Skrulls learned of the Kree DNA is a bit of an unresolved issue. And could fit so nicely into the Kree-Skrull war too if they choose to.

There should be some major blow-back from all of the Avengers in having their DNA ownership violated by NOT adhering to HIPPA. There already is the Marvel print version of Thor giving Tony Stark a major thrashing: Thor Gives Iron-Man a BEATDOWN for stealing DNA. I was proud of Thor Odinson for punishing Tony for his arrogance and hubris. Fury is proving to be quite efficient in skullduggery and deceit in a quest for safety. It also was the same story-line, at least consistently, in AoS that Fury used to bring back Coulson. If an Avenger had died on the battlefield Fury wanted tools to resurrect any Avenger and it just so happens Alien DNA was a tool, that he was intending to use. Coulson was the guinea pig. Agent Coulson should have had some say-so in the matter for having been sent to Tahiti!
