I was curious as to the Rottentomatoes and IMDB audience scores respectively for this series. So I looked. When I looked at the IMDB score my eyes just happened to scan down the cast list.

For Agent Hill she is listed in five episodes. My first thought was "WTF"??!! What?!!! Why are they going to show her in the same flash-back all splayed out in the square so many times?

Why is this series so poorly viewed? All things being relative of course, but the season is half over, there have been some very impactful reveals but little to no commentary about the series.

Maybe there are views but little if anything for viewers to discuss?

Even here the view traffic and the comment post/thread traffic is slim pickens. 😞

My theory is that the Maria Hill we saw killed was in fact a Skrull (and not actually killed). Maria knows how to do that since she did it for Nick in CATWS and any Skrull that took her knowledge would know how as well. Though I do think it's an odd choice as I sort of loathe the "dead but not dead" trope.

Viewership suffered greatly when they didn't put anything new out for so long. People drift from streaming service to streaming service so if you go for months with new content every week then go dry for a long time, it's going to hurt. Also, summer.

It may be here at least that we've got people waiting until the whole series has dropped so they can binge it and so they're avoiding these threads in case of spoilers. I haven't looked at the Rottentomatoes scores, but it could also be that some of the DC fandom are ratings bombing it. You know, because people can't enjoy both.
