I just finished watching this since it is now streaming on Peacock. It was actually not too bad after the disappointment that was Shyamalan's Old. The acting was great and the story was interesting enough. Dave Bautista was pretty believable in it. It's also still very hard to realize that Rupert Grint is 35 as I always picture him as Ron Weasley. The story differed a bit from the book at the end, which I suspected might happen. Spoiler tagging for those who haven't seen or don't want to know... In the book, it's left ambiguous whether the apocalypse is truly happening or if everything that happens is a coincidence. In the movie, it's pretty clear that everything they were told is true. All in all, I was glad to watch it once, but it's not going on my repeat list.

I realized that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and the other young actors are today the same age that Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew were in the books. I know that Tom Felton has already called dibs on playing either Lucius Malfoy or Voldemort in any reboot.

He would totally make a great Lucius Malfoy, too!
