There are several scenes where you'll want to watch closely (though that can be on subsequent watchings). Lots of Easter eggs! I've heard that there are lots of fun little Easter eggs to watch out for! I've also been told that it's a pretty decent movie overall. It's too bad it didn't have much box office success, which is why I suspect it's being released on digital this soon. No idea what will come of the current plans as far as casting. I'm definitely sad to see Henry Cavill totally gone from the DCU. I was not a fan of the Black Adam movie, but it seemed like things had been worked out for him to return. The announcement was even made that he was back until a few weeks later, they announced he was out again. And yet, with everything going on with them, Ezra Miller is still plugging right along. I really wonder what is going on with those decisions behind the scenes. Don't even get me started on how they scrapped the completed Batgirl movie without even considering a straight-to-Max release. |

I just finished watching this and LOVED it! I mean, I do have some light criticism of a few things, but my complaints are very minor. The Easter eggs were fantastic. I wasn't a fan of a lot of the CGI, but much of it seemed to be a stylistic choice more than anything else. I for sure will be watching it again to catch any of the extra things I might have missed the first time around, because there were a LOT of blink-and-miss homages to things here. It was quite enjoyable overall, and I'd give it a solid 8/10. |
