Had to clarify in the subject since most rumors are scandals LOL. But there's a rumor circulating that Chloe has been contacted about reviving her role as Quake in the MCU. Pure rumor it seems and nothing indicating if it's for film, Disney+, voice work only, cameo or recurring and all that. But Monday felt like a good day to spread a little hope. Me too. I'm still holding out that at some point (a one-shot, a youtube-only video, something) they'll resolve the whole "Coulson is alive and nobody told the Avengers" thing.

More on this:
Essentially: AoS will be considered a different timeline (which makes sense) and while they'll keep a few things the same they'll be free to rewrite origins and stories to fit into the MCU and future plans. No word on other characters (yet) but the same would apply.

I'm not surprised they want to keep AoS as an alternate timeline, as it's always been treated as the red-headed stepchild.

Had to clarify in the subject since most rumors are scandals LOL. I looked up Chloe Bennet on Google News to see what came up. It seemed like half of the stories were on an ex-boyfriend (the one that we had a thread on) or on a possible new one. I generally avoid spoilers, so I do not know how Bennet generally handles spoilers. Does she generally refuse to comment? Is she unable to keep a secret? Does she go as far as being willing to lie to protect a secret? I know that Bennet has specifically denied being part of the Secret Invasion series but has not denied being part of another MCU project. When Bennet left the Powerpuff Girls project, she cited "scheduling conflicts" as the reason. I assumed that was just an excuse to get away from a production that turned into a huge mess. After all, there were no other announced projects that would have interfered. "Scheduling conflicts" probably were just an excuse, but, maybe, she has another project, one where her participation is a secret. Speaking of people with sketchy "scheduling conflicts," Iain de Caestecker has a mini-series that just aired on the BBC, so he did the interview circuit. A common question appears to be whether he is willing to return as Fitz in another MCU appearance. In one interview, he said, "I think I would say probably no... after everything that happened to those two characters [Fitz and Simmons], they really gave them a happy ending. And I think it would be so sad to mess with that again." In another interview, he said, "We had really loyal and supportive and brilliant fans of the show, so I wouldn’t want to disappoint them and say no, but at the same time I think it’s nice that they [FitzSimmons] had their ending, and I think it’s nice to leave them." I am not surprised to hear that he appears to be reluctant. He mostly says that it is because Fitz and Simmons had a happy ending (in which they were obsessed with a child to a very unhealthy degree). However, I still remember that he barely returned for that ending, and we have yet to see any project that would have conflicted with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shooting. He has appeared in three miniseries (including the current one) and a short film, but all four of those projects were filmed after the final episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Regarding future appearances, he may be in the "willing to lie" category and has signed a multi-film deal in which Fitz becomes to the Avengers something like what Q is to James Bond. I think that this is a more likely role for Fitz in the MCU than a role that would interfere with a FitzSimmons happy ending. I'm not surprised they want to keep AoS as an alternate timeline, as it's always been treated as the red-headed stepchild. Things are improving. Two years ago, it looked like Kevin Feige was determined to rid the MCU of any television show that he did not personally supervise. Today, we have cameos from actors and even characters who first appeared on television. In any case, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. probably quit being in the same timeline as the films at least when the team started time travelling. For example, there was no blip on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The rumors apparently come from Chloe more than from the character - so it seems like she would definitely play her.
