Excited to watch the first two episodes of Obi-Wan tonight. Looks really good. Haxe, Do you know, yet, if it'll be Ok to watch this without seeing Mandalorian & Bobba Fett first? I kinda wnat to dive right into this one, but would hate to be out of sequence.......

While it's certainly possible they'll reference other events/characters from those series, I don't see anything major that would come up. The story here certainly appears to be its own thing so far. Those two series though (Mando/Boba) I would watch "in order" since they do somewhat inter-relate in places.

I really can't think of anything they could possibly do in the final 3 episodes of Kenobi that might spoil Mandalorian or Boba Fett.

Episode 4 was another good one. Not as knuckle-whitening as episode 3 of course.
Still nothing that really spoils or heavily connects to Mando/Fett.

Episode 5 a step up from 4. Some good action and some great plot twists/reveals.

Well they certainly went out with a bang. I'm sure there were some fans that didn't get all they wanted but I certainly had all my wish list of items addressed in one way or another.
I'm curious what they'll do next. They could theoretically wedge another season in there but not sure they should try - not much "room" left before A New Hope in terms of Obi-Wan. Probably better to continue some subplots in other projects like Andor. Similar to what they've done with Mando and Bobba having some overlap.

I just binged this between yesterday and today and was REALLY impressed! I actually liked this more than the last 3 sequel movies. I read somewhere that they had considered making this a movie before deciding on it being a series, and I'm glad that's what they did. I do think they left it open for a second season. I agree with haxemon that I'm not sure they should try because of the timeline. However, following one of the other surviving characters might be a possibility and leave the occasional Ewan McGregor cameo open.

Ironically they could potentially do a second season with a plotline like the one they teased for the first (i.e. focus on Tatooine and Luke). But yeah, hopefully they only do a second season if they have a really good idea. Given that they can pull characters and storylines (even Obi-Wan) into other series there's no need to force anything. Glad you liked it.
