Agreed. Exceeded my expectations which were already high (the opposite of MJ I guess). Just enough goofy humor and inside jokes without ruining the story.

Is it really possible this is all of the No Way Home discussion here?
Anyway, I am wondering if Loki season 2 might see some hints at the damage that film's events did to the timelines. Would love to see the lizard running around and being chased through a golden door to stand trial for being a variant that was supposed to have died.

I bet you're probably right about Loki's 2nd season. I suspect the discussion is sparse due to the 'Rona. Lots of places are either locked down again and people are hesitant to go to theatres. That's one reason I haven't actually seen it yet, although I have seen the spoilers.

From what I can tell, nobody is going to the theaters to see this film. They are too crowded.
The film has already made nearly $1.4 billion in theaters. A lot of people have seen it, although maybe not that many who post here. I was going to see it last Tuesday, but I noticed that the morning matinee was nearly sold out a few hours before it was scheduled to begin. I saw The Tragedy of Macbeth instead. I might see No Way Home this Sunday if crowds subside. Otherwise, I will probably see the remake of Nightmare Alley.

There are two forums where I sometimes post/sometime lurk. In the other one, it would have gone without saying that I was paraphrasing Yogi Berra in my earlier post. Actually, I should have said "allegedly paraphrasing" as Berra said that he did not say all the things that he said. I saw Spider-Man: No Way Home two weeks ago on a Tuesday morning when the theater was only half full. I think that the enjoyment of this film is highest if one watches this film knowing a lot about previous Spider-Man films—including the ones with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield—and nothing about this film. Just in case there is someone out there who has not been spoiled, all that I will say outside spoiler tags is that there may be some scattered Easter eggs from non-MCU Spider-Man films. OK, there was a lot more than just a few Easter eggs.
The film is that it started slow. Unfortunately, I suspect that everyone in the theater, even those seeing the film for the first time, already knew that the film would include villains and Spider-Men from previous Sony films. We were just sitting through too much of Peter Parker being angsty waiting for everyone else to show up. That being said, the film was quite good one these other characters showed up. I understand that this was primarily a fanservice film, but the fanservice worked.
I am glad that Charlie Cox actually returned as Daredevil. This is not because I have affection for the character. I have not seen any of the Netflix series. I am glad because this gives me hope that we will see Katy's Aunt Melinda in a future Shang-Chi film.
This led me to speculate on Keven Feige's psyche. Marvel Television shows, particularly Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., acknowledged MCU films, but the films generally did not acknowledge the television shows, which were not under Feige's control. When Jeph Loeb left/was ousted, Feige seemed eager to expel Marvel Television shows from the MCU. I guess that Feige now feels more comfortable in his role and is no longer threatened by shows that he did not control directly.
It was so inspiring to see all of the other Avengers coming out and publicly supporting Peter Parker when much of the world turned on him. Of course, this was to be expected as there is necessarily a bond that will be created between people who put their lives on the line to save half the population of the universe. In fact, I would expect nothing less. Wait a minute. While an Avenger was being viciously slandered on a regular basis, not one of his teammates spoke out publicly in his defense?
I do not understand why Peter, Ned, and MJ were in suspense as they opened their letters from MIT. I thought that everyone knew that thin envelopes mean rejection because a rejection contains just a letter whereas an acceptance contains packets on things like housing, orientation, and registration. Meanwhile, I do not understand why Doctor Strange thought that Parker could reverse the rejection simply by talking to someone at MIT.
