I read the book quite a while back so don't remember much, but I am starting the series. So far, it looks visually interesting. The opening credits are gorgeous and very much remind me of the amazing opening credits for the Marvel Netflix stuff. Hopefully, the series is good. It wasn't my favourite SK book.

As a Constant Reader, I am curious about this as well (but not enough to get Apple TV).
There is such a deep well of SK characters etc. that there could almost be an SKCU. Under the Dome was "okay", Mr. Mercedes was very good etc.

I wasn't too impressed with Under the Dome once the plot started to diverge from the book. What I would absolutely love to see is a Dark Tower series. I'm not sure anyone could actually do that one well, though.

The thing with doing the Dark Tower series is you'd almost need a "mature" SKCU first since there are so many references to King and his works. They could do it without it I suppose, but that would feel odd to me as all the subtle references (I'm sure I missed plenty) in the Dark Tower books to other things that came from King's mind were so awesome and sort of fed into the idea that King's mind was almost its own big bang of sorts.

Absolutely. I also think it's tough to adapt quite a bit of SK's work because so much is internal and that can be difficult to convey on film.
