Okay so I am rewatching season 1 and I was thinking about Mike's future upgrades. Do you think they would upgrade him with LMD tech to make him look more human and make his built in weapons more compact?

This is an interesting idea.
If you are suggesting that S.H.I.E.L.D. use LMD technology just to augment Peterson's cybernetics, I do not know how much good that would do. I suspect that Peterson's weapons are already as compact as they can be without removing at least some of his remaining human parts. Also, LMDs were not designed to pack firepower. They were instead designed to trick opponents into thinking that they were deal with a real person. I suppose that S.H.I.E.L.D. could use LMD technology to cover his burn scars.
If you are suggesting that S.H.I.E.L.D. convert Peterson into an LMD, there are a few issues that they need to deal with.
First, would Peterson want to lose his human parts? I would not assume that he would be any more comfortable with the idea than Coulson was in the seventh season, and Coulson did not have the option of continuing with his human parts. Also, what would happen with Peterson's human parts? If the LMD is a replacement rather than a duplicate, it would effectively kill the human Peterson that remains.
Second, putting a person into an LMD requires at least a brain scan like the one used for the Framework. I do not think that this would be too much of a problem with Peterson. Even if S.H.I.E.L.D. no longer has the scanning equipment, they could use the equipment from Deke's company.
Finally, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. has big issues when it comes to robots. Even if Mack were OK with converting Peterson into an LMD, who would do so? As of the end of the seventh season, of the two people most responsible for the LMD program, one (Radcliffe) is dead and the other (Fitz) is retired. (Actually, the retired one also died, but there was a spare in the freezer.) Deke could do the work, but he is in another timeline. Simmons is also retired and has her own issues with LMDs (or, at least, with one in particular). It might be easier if Peterson does not mind having Coulson's body. Then S.H.I.E.L.D. could simply use the 3D printer that created the most recent version of the Coulson LMD only using Peterson's brainscan instead of Coulson's.

I'm not sure about LMD technology specifically, because - as FreeKresge said - they were not really used as a weapons platform. Sure, they had superior strength compared to humans, but they weren't the Swiss army knife characters that Mike became as Deathlok. That said, Radcliff's OTHER projects, the stuff he did when he was first introduced on the show, could easily have been used to improve Mike's appearance and the size of his weaponry imo. Even those few cybernetic improvements that Radcliff's patrons in that club/bio lab were shown to have were hardly visible, yet extremely effective. If he and/or Fitz had really put their minds to it, and had Mike remained an actual part of the show, I'm certain they would have improved the Deathlok design immensely. Just think of what Fitz did for Coulson's hand! That said, Deathlok's cyborg appearance was such a unique trait of the character, that I assume the writers would have come up with a way to handwave any compelling reasons to tone down the design. I mean, screw Mike wanting a normal life or anything like that, as long as he LOOKS cool, right?!?
