I didnt knew there was already a trailer for it and its to premiere in august!

Also like i said in chat didnt knew it was an animated series tho it seems kind of obvious now that i look at it

Yeah having it animated provides so much more freedom. It's not only easier to clarify that it's not "prime MCU canon" but also allows them freedom of casting if they use existing characters or want to use any characters from What If later on in live action.

Nah, looks really cool! I bet this show is gonna be a ton of fun. And I bet it's a blast for the writers to be able to explore any avenues they can think of, without having to worry about future movies or the fates of their characters or whatever.

There's so much lore in the comics for What If directly (i.e. "What if Wolverine had killed the Hulk?" etc.) but there's also a ton of stuff from the comics that they can explore via a new/converted "What If?" story. Plus on top of that all the options from the extended MCU itself. "What If Fury had told the Avengers Coulson was alive?" may never happen of course, but we can dream.

It was written before everyone became unkillable, so if I recall correctly

it was just a long fight with Wolverine disobeying his Dept H orders to "subdue" and going berserk and killing the Hulk. Then he joins with Magneto, infiltrates the X-Men then falls for Jean and redeems himself (sort of) by the end of the story.
